Tonight, We're Fake.

Start from the beginning

Even Penelope looked shocked that I had said that, but Harry was ogling me and I glared at him, but he didn't stop.

"Well, you seem to have changed since I last seen you Miss Greene. Come, let us eat. Or, I don't suppose that you'll deny my offer this time?" Gina said sarcastically and I took a breath.

"No. In fact, I was just about to ask you if we could sit down and eat." I smiled and she returned it. Am I seriously earning her trust and appreciation? My God.

Once we sat down at the table, Penelope was facing Gina, and I was facing Harry. It wasn't a very good set up, because me and Harry would just be talking the whole time.

Haley had two other servers with her to help her out so I didn't have to do it, and I thanked her when she handed me a plate. When the servers took the covers off, I nearly died of a food coma just by looking at it.

Roast beef, potatoes, carrots, and homemade rolls. It looked delicious.

Once we started eating, Gina began to pay more attention to Penelope and began to ask her questions about what she did and such.

When I looked up at Harry, he was looking at me and I beamed.

"Stop staring at me," I whispered and he shook his head.

"Stop dressing in clothes that will make me stare at you," he argued and I smiled.

"So, Harry. Have you spent the time to get to know Penelope?" Gina asked and his head straightened up.

He grabbed her hand and I froze where I was, unable to help the expression on my face.

"Yes. And I can't wait to marry her. She's beautiful, and she's the love of my life." He was looking at her the whole time and she was bright red like a tomato.

He didn't even frown or anything. He said it with a straight face... but... Did he mean it? No, no. Of course not. He loves me...

"Anastasia?" Gina called and I was knocked out of my trance.

"Yes?" I straightened up and she smiled.

"I said, are you still in love with Harry? Or did you just forget that you and Harry ever had a thing?" she asked and I swallowed, but kept a straight face.

"I never loved him," I almost screamed saying it, and I hastily shook my head, "Penelope and Harry belong together."

Gina's smile was so wide and she grabbed my hand in hers, "I am so happy with your decision. You have made a good one, and I am proud of the person you are now."

"I'm glad I've actually earned your appreciation, Mrs. Styles," I said and she smiled again.

I didn't even want to look at Harry after saying those things. I knew I hurt him. I even hurt myself, and it pains me to even think about shit like that.

After we finished dinner, Gina had asked us if we wanted to walk the garden. Apparently it looks 'magical' at night.

When we walked outside, a light breeze was blowing and it felt good on my burning skin. Gina was walking with PenelopeI could tell that they were really bondingand Harry was trailing behind them. While I was walking by myself.

I wasn't sure if Harry was mad at me, or upset with me. But this is what he asked me to do. I had to be completely out of the picture. There was never no Anastasia and Harry, no 'Hana' or whatever you wanna call the stupid ship name that Malina had given to us. We never had any chemistry, but that's what Gina thinks.

We're supposed to pretend tonight that nothing is going on between us and nothing ever did. Tonight, we are fake. Like Penelope.

I looked out to the flowers the gorgeous, big flowersand sighed to myself. It felt good to walk alone, even though I've been missing company for a while.
