"The intention was to select those who prioritized teamwork." Kakashi added.

"Sakura!" You called, causing her head to snap towards you.

"You were concerned with Sasuke and Sasuke alone. Even when you didn't know where he was and when Naruto was right in front of you, you didn't even lift a finger to help!" You scolded. She blushed from embarrassment and humiliation.

"Naruto!" Kakashi called, gaining his attention.

"All you do is run solo... you do everything alone... everything..." Kakashi emphasized.

"And you, Sasuke." You said as you looked down at him.

"You consider Sakura and Naruto below you, inferior to you, weaker than you. That arrogance will not only get you killed, but the others as well." You hissed.

"Missions are carried out in squads! You need your individual skills, but teamwork is suppose to be more important than that!" Kakashi scolded.

"Individual acts and disruption of teamwork can lead to altercations and death!" You scolded as well.

"And how do you know?" Sakura asked.

"Because I've had a squad that's all died." You replied. She gasped.

"For example." Kakashi said while pulling out a kunai and throwing it to you. You grabbed Sasuke's hair and and yanked him upwards while pressing the kunai to his neck.

"Sakura! Kill Naruto now or Sasuke dies!" You 'threatened'. They both then started freaking out.

"That's what will happen on a mission." Kakashi stated. You pulled the kunai away and dropped Sasuke's head. You threw the kunai back to Kakashi where he caught it, and put it back in his pouch.

"When a hostage is taken you're left with an impossible choice and someone dies." Kakashi said and gestured you to get off Sasuke. You complied and got off of him and jumped back onto the pole.

"Wait... why is Y/n lecturing us when she didn't get a bell?" Sakura asked.

"Because Y/n was the only one who got it and asked you to help her. She even hinted it earlier." Kakashi replied.

"So basically, we have to beat the shit out of you together, and get the bells?" You asked. He sweatdropped.

"Um... yeah..." He replied.

"But you denied my request and ran off." You added while looking down at them. Kakashi then walked over towards the memorial stone.

"See this stone? These are all of the ninja who are called heroes in this village." He explained. Your face instantly dropped at the two names engraved on there. Then Naruto was going on about how he wanted to be KIA.

'How stupid.' You thought.

"This is a memorial stone. The names of my friends are engraved here also. As well as Y/n's parents." Kakashi said. The three looked up to you, where you narrowed your eyes.

"Except, they weren't KIA." You said.

"What do you mean?" Sasuke asked.

"Do you really want to know?" You asked. They all nodded their heads. You look over towards Kakashi for reassurance. When he nodded, you sighed.

"They weren't KIA. They... they committed suicide." You confessed. Sakura and Sasuke gasped in surprise.

"Suicide?" Naruto repeated.

"It means they killed themselves, Naruto." You explained while closing your eyes. His eyes widened to the size of plates.

"Y/n..." He said quietly. You opened your eyes and looked at Kakashi.

"I'll give you guys one more chance! But afternoon will be a harder battle than before. So eat up and build your strength! Oh, and don't feed Naruto, it's a punishment for trying to eat alone." He explained.

"If someone feeds him, they'll be disqualified on the spot." You finished.

"Exactly." Kakashi added.

"Y/n, come with me." He ordered. You nodded and jumped by his side while starting to walk away.

"How much you want to bet they'll feed him?" You asked.

"We'll just have to find out." He replied.

"Mm." You added.

"I'm sorry for mentioning your parents." He said quietly. You shook your head and waved dismissively.

"It's fine. I understand why you would apologize though. Your father's name is on there as well right?" You asked. He nodded.

"Yeah, I can see why." You muttered.

Yup! You know that Kakashi's dad committed suicide!

Edit: Because Kakashi was there to console you when you were younger and that's when he confessed his father killed himself.
