"Oh diba you watched my previous movies na?"

"Well, not this one." Channy said.

"Okay, I was still 19 here and I was still starting, it was even before I met your mother." It was a slip of the tongue.

"My mother? Are you ready to talk about her Daddy?" Channy asked.

Alden was speechless. He knows that his daughter discreetly talks about her mom before but it's the only time she asked him if he's ready.

"It's okay Daddy if you don't want to talk about her, I understand. I know my mom is beautiful, funny and wonderful just like what I dream her to be." Channy said.

"Oh she is, baby. She was the one who inspired me to loosen up and have fun in life. She is really funny-"

"especially if she makes those wacky faces!" Channy laughed, she unknowingly interrupted him.

"H-how did you?"

"C'mon Daddy, let's see how well were you when you were till young." Channy cut him off immediately.

"Do you want to have a picnic in the lake, anak?" Maine asked Rio.

"Maybe later at night po, stargazing po tayo." Rio suggested.

"Great idea anak." Maine said while washing the dishes.

"Tulungan ko na po kayo."

"Thank you anak."

They were having fun with the bubbles when Maine's phone suddenly rang.

"Hey.. okay.. Don't worry, it's alright.. Okay, I'll be there in a minute... Bye." Maine ended her call.

"I have to go to Sagamore honey, if you want, you should rest."

"No, its okay Mom. I'll go with you. I miss Sagamore too." Rio smiled.

When they arrived, they went straight to the LakeHouse. It was supposed to be Maine's day off but one of the sous-chef in the open-air Lake George restaurant had an emergency and she has to fill his duty for the mean time before another sous-chef arrives. Rio greeted everyone like how Channy would do. She chose to stay and observe how her mother worked. Rio saw how her Dad and Manang Bebeng worked in the kitchen but now, watching her own mother, it was like magic. Maine moved swiftly and it made like cooking really easy to do. Rio can't help but feel in awe as she stare at her working mother. She like how she is so concentrated when she's working. She finished an order and made an extra plate for Rio.
