I made my way through an alley, cutting through the streets at random.
The town was mostly abandoned, prices were too high to live here.
The furry thing followed me, matching my pace.
"Look, whatever you are, who ever, WHATEVER, is after me is dangerous. Go home."
I made a shooing motion with my hands.
There was an intense light in front of me, and I stepped back.
"Do not fear, child. You are among the Angels now."
I didn't know what to say.
"Look, i'm honored you are protecting me, but I just want to go home." I said.
No luck.
I Was picked up, hauled over one shoulder, and we were going up.
"Put me down!" I screamed.
I hit whatever it was with my cane. I had enough of this weirdness...
And then I came spiraling down.
I screamed, obviously. But it's way too cliche to type ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
All of a sudden, i was plucked through the air.
"Calm down, child. The Angels will fix you."
And then it was all black.
