Chapter Twelve

"Do you not like cats?" Asher growled lowly before shaking her head and walking over to the cat and picking it up by the scruff of  it's neck   

"I'm getting rid of it" As she turned around to toss it out the door I grabbed it from her causing her to groan  "Haley,Give me the cat"

"Maybe I want to keep it." I smiled at the cat who was glaring towards Asher who just glared back

"Wolves and cats don't get along plus I hate cats" Asher growled at the cat lowly  who was totally content in my arms "We don't need it" 

"You are right,I don't need it." I brought the cat closer to my body causing it to purr loudly "I want it" Ignoring Asher's protest I walked further into the house not letting the cat go. Making my way towards the set of stairs. Setting the cat on the lower step and sending a look to Asher so she wouldn't touch her. Walking up the stairs I saw my stuff stacked inside of a door way. 

"That's your room" Asher pointed and smiled causing me to frown.

"My room?" Asher looked a bit confused but nodded "We aren't sharing a room?" Asher look shock at my question but quickly shook it off "You want to share a room? I mean we can" Asher quickly ran towards my stuff and started grabbing my bags as if I was going to change my mind causing me to laugh "Asher" She froze but didn't let go of my bags "We are mates. I don't think you understands what that means but since I'm marked and it's new on top of that. You won't be sleeping alone ever again." I walked over grabbed my bags from her. "Calm down. We'll take care of it later" She let out a breath before flashing me a breath taking smile  

"I just wasn't sure if you wanted to sleep together seeing as we were both new to this" I smirked at her lowly before moving close to her and wrapping my arms around her neck. My smirk grew as her eyes darkened slightly 

"If you don't want to sleep with me? I could always go cuddle with.." I froze causing her to growl as if testing me to finish my sentence. I got moved even closer which she in turn wrapped her arms around my waist. "..with my new cat" I pulled myself from her grip and walked away. I could hear her rapid heart beat as I stuck my head inside of another room and saw two desks.  I  ran to the smaller of desk and jumped in the computer chair. Giggling I started spinning myself. 

"You'll be the death of me,baby" Asher's voice was full of annoyance as she walked in the room and over to the larger desk that was already full of papers. "Well since we're in here I guess I should tell you about your parents" I stopped my spinning and looked at Asher. 

"What about my parents?"

"They are in my cells" I gave her a confused looks a she dug through papers on her desk. She handed me over a paper that held a picture of my parents both looked tired and dirty "I traded a Beta's son for them. I found your brothers too but I couldn't touch them as they are under a Alpha's protection" I stared at the photo of my parents.  "I'm going to see them soon,Would you like to join me?"  I thought about it for a moment before nodding 

"I want to release them" Asher looked at me confused "They obviously don't want Kat and I and we are happy here. I'm so happy here" Asher's eyes start glowing a light gold telling me her wolf was close to the surface 

"We are happy with you" Her voice was husky causing my wolf to purr lightly "But back to my main focus,They upset you,I don't want to let them go." I could tell Asher's wolf was in more control at this point. "I should kill them" She whispered lowly as if she wanted me to hear it but also didn't want me too.

"No! You can't kill them!" She growled lowly again. 

"They don't even want you. I don't see why!" Asher stood from her chair and started pacing 

"Asher...Are you hiding something from me?" Asher's head snapped to me really fast before quickly making her way out of the room.
