Prologue.

"You should go play with Naruto and Sasuke." Your father suggested. You tilted your head, confused.

"Okay, but why?" You asked while getting up.

"You've been training really hard and I think you deserve some fun time with them!" Your mom exclaimed happily. You nodded before running up and hugging her. She kissed your head and hugged you back.

"I love you baby." She said quietly. You giggled.

"I love you too, okaa-san!" You replied.

"Hey, where's my hug?" Your father asked while fake pouting. You giggled before running to hug him too.

"I'll see you later, sweetie." He said while kissing your forehead. You nodded before running towards the door.

"Hey, okaa-san?" You asked, stopping in the doorway.

"What is it?" She asked.

"Will you read me a story when I get back? It helps my mind brain." You asked. Her eyes widened before she nodded.

"Of course baby." She replied. You smiled before running out of the door, missing your mother fall to her knees with streams of tears trailing down her face.

"Itachi-nii!" You scream while running towards the Uchiha compound. He and Sasuke looked at you and smiled.

"Hey, Y/n." He replied while hugging you. You giggled when he picked you up.

"Why are you here?" He asked.

"Okaa-san and Otou-san told me to play with you guys!" You responded. He smiled before looking down at Sasuke.

"What do you say?" He asked. Sasuke nodded.

"Let's go then." He said while carrying you and carrying Sasuke on his back. You giggled.

"You're gonna break your back carrying me and Sasuke! He weighs a ton!" You teased.

"Oi! Do not!" He retorted.

"With that duck on your head you do!" You retorted back.

"It's not a duck!"

You just stuck your tongue out at him while he did the same. You smiled before resting your head on Itachi's shoulder.

You were heading back to your compound after hanging out with Itachi, Sasuke, and Naruto. When you walked through the compound gates it was quiet. Only some lights were on. You usually felt safe and secure when you walked through the gates, but now you feel as if something is stalking you. You slowed your pace and looked around.

"H-hello?" You called out a little scared. Your voice echoed.

No answer.

"Is anyone here?" You called out again.

•

Still no answer.

You finally were terrified and started to run towards your house. When you got there all of the lights were out, but you didn't pay attention and burst through the door.

"Okaa-san!! Otou-san!!! Something's wrong—!"

Your eyes widened as a splash of blood sprayed across your cheek. Your mother was lying on her side with a katana in her hand which was embedded into your dad's chest where his heart was located and vice versa. Your pupils were wide, your body was shaking, and all you wanted to do was just scream. What the hell? You felt as if you couldn't breathe. You couldn't move. Your surroundings were distorting.

'Move, Y/n!!! Just move!!!' You mentally screamed to yourself. When your body gave into your brain's command, you slowly walked over to the note that was on the table and picked it up.

'Y/n,
My dear, precious baby. We're so sorry. Please, don't forget to grow strong and never forget that we'll always love you.

                              Love,
                                 Mommy and daddy.'

You were shaking.

Mostly because of your attempt not to throw up. Your eyes widened as you ran out of the house.

"Onee-chan?!" You called out while running around the compound.

"Onee-chan?! Where are you?! Please stop hiding!! This isn't funny!!" You screamed while running all over the place.

"This is a Genjutsu right?! I'll wake up soon right?!" You screamed. You put your hands together and built up chakra.

"Release!" You screamed, but nothing happened.

"No no no!!! This can't be real!!" You screamed while trying again.

Then reality hit you.

Like a sack of weenies.

This isn't a mirage or a Genjutsu.

It's real.

And you can't escape it, no matter how hard you try.

"WHERE IS EVERYONE?!?! COME OUT!! PLEASE!! DON'T LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" You screamed while falling to the ground and letting sobs rack through you.

"Please... don't leave..." You muttered through hiccups.

"I don't... I don't want to be alone..." You said to yourself.

"My my. How pathetic." A stone cold voice echoed. Your head snapped up and in front of you was your sister with a sneer on her face and her sword drawn.

"Crying over the death of two people. How sad." She spat, her cold face not once changing. Your eyes widened.

"What are you... talking about? Aren't you sad too, onee-chan...?" You asked while slowly reaching up to her. She tch'd and swiped her katana at you, cutting your wrist in the process. You held your now severely bleeding wrist in your hand as you fought back the tears that threatened to spill.

"People who have demon blood flowing through their veins can't die that easily. There are special weapons created for that. Be grateful I didn't send you to be with mother and father." She hissed, sheathing her katana and turning away from you.

"Good luck living your lonely life without anyone." Was the last thing she was before vanishing. No words came out of your mouth. The only noises that did come out were the strangled words that refused to exit your mouth. You held your bleeding wrist closer to your body as you hunched over, gritting your teeth before snapping back up, letting out an ear piercing scream that attracted some ninja. Your eyes? They were both black and red. What you didn't notice, since you were too busy screaming, was the person hidden within the shadows watching everything. With tear streaks down their face and a broken heart.

"I'm so sorry..."

"Y/n..."

So, how'd I do? Sad right? Except maybe the weenie part, but whatever!
