Prologue.

"When am I going into the academy?" You asked again.

"Soonly." Your father replied. You hummed before jumping out of your sisters arms.

"Let's start training!!" You yelled while running towards the trees. Your sister and father laughed, but it quickly died down when Hio asked a question.

"Are you really going to go through with the plan?" Her voice went serious, keeping her tone down so that you wouldn't hear her. Arata sighed.

"We have to. We don't have a choice. I can't let the Leaf suffer the consequences and I can't allow Y/n to die." He replied just as seriously and quietly.

"But why are you succumbing to them so easily? The Akuma clan is feared throughout the great nations." Hio asked again, watching you throw kunai and shuriken, missing most of the time.

"True, but Y/n doesn't know her true power yet. If something happens to her she won't be strong enough to protect herself." Arata quickly replied.

"I hope you're doing the right thing." Hio sighed.

"I hope so too." He said back.

"Maaaaaan, I'm sooooo tireddddddd!!!" You whined while flopping onto your back. Your father chuckled.

"That's what happens when you're strong and want to get stronger." He said with a smile.

"Ughhhhh!" You groaned, flopping over onto your stomach. Your father laughed before picking you up and begun tickling you.

"Let go of me! You're tickling me!!" You said through giggles. Arata chuckled and placed you onto his shoulders.

"Come on, dinner's ready." He said. Your father walked into the kitchen and saw Hio and M/n there, setting up the table. Your mom groaned in annoyance.

"I told you, Arata, she's going to fall off one of these days from your stupidity!" She scolded. You giggled.

"It's not my fault! She asked!" He exclaimed while pointing towards you.

"No I didn't." You said while smiling. Your mom raised an eyebrow and put a hand on her hip. Your father chuckled nervously.

"She's confused." He explained.

"No I'm not!" You retorted while crossing your arms and pouting quite cutely. She sighed before smiling.

"Just get over here and eat. You've been training all day." She ordered while putting the food out. Your father put you down and you both sat down at the table. You tilted your head and narrowed your eyes.

"What is this? Unicorn poop?" You asked while stabbing the colorful meat turd.

"Uh... no...?" Your mom replied after a few moments.

"Then what is it?" You asked while looking at her. She fiddled nervously.

"It's... um... ITADAKIMASU!!!" She screamed before stuffing her face with the mystery turd meat.

'Guess I won't ever know.' You thought.

"Itadakimasu!" You all said before digging in. Your face blanched.

'This... this isn't meat...'

It was after dinner and you were in the living room playing with your toys, which were mostly kunai. 10/10 safe parenting.

"Hey, sweetie?" Your mom called from the doorway. You looked up at her with your heterochromatic eyes.

"Whaty?" You asked cutely.
