Chapter 1- Meet Dallas
--Dallas POV--
I was sitting in my apartment watching YouTube on my laptop. Again. I didn't have work till a few minutes, so I am doing what I normally do, which is watch gamers on YouTube, and play videogames. I avoid going in public as much as I can, I don't like human interaction. To be honest, anime people are more interesting. But I really love the outdoors. Anyway, I come back to the real world just in time to listen to Markiplier's outro.
"And that is the end of the video, I hope you enjoyed! And I will see you in the next video, Bub Bye!" He smiles and waves before the video cuts out.
I love watching YouTubers. The sense of community and care is somthing I need more of. I'm all alone, because my parents died when I was young and I had no other family, but I'm okay. I have come to terms with it, and I have moved on. I still love them though, I go to their graves every year on the anniversery of their death. But, all sad things set aside, I have a good life. I have my own studio apartment, work at Starbucks and I'm not starving. I say life is good. I get up off my bed and walk to the kitchen. I quickly made a cup of coffee, pouring half a cup of pepermint creamer into the thermos that contained the steaming coffee. I may work at a Starbucks, but they don't let me drink the coffee there. So I bring my own. My work starts in about 10 minutes and it takes about 5 minutes to walk there, so I grab my coat and lock my door. I fly down the stairs and burst through the main door. With my feet moving themselves -since I memorised the way- and my eyes locked on my phone, I head torwads the Starbucks.
I reach Starbucks about a minute early, and my boss greets me. All the people who work here are friendly, and we make working fun.
"Wazzup my homie swizzle?" Cas, my super gay boss, tries to imitate.
"Lord, please don't ever say that ever again." I reply with a straight face, then a chuckle.
"Whatever, go open up."
I quickly put on a apron and and walk over to the door, flipping the sign so it says 'Open'. Walking back to behind the counter, I start putting the snacks and stuff in the display case. Then I hear the bell for the door jingle. Looking over, I see the first customer. Time for a busy day of picky people and rushed people.

Finaly, the day is over. I do some last minute orders, clean up and hang up my apron. After yelling a goodbye to Cas, I make my way into the slightly chilly air. I decide to do somthing I never do, and walk to the park. For some reason, it seemed like a good idea. I walk up to the beautiful park, and sit on a bench. I was surrounded by trees, which were turning red and orange just for the autum season. The breeze was gently blowing through my galaxy hair, my dark green eyes sweeping over the scene infront of me. A mother playing with her child, a couple having a picnic. I sigh and close my eyes, relaxing. I haven't done this in a while, and it's nice to just sit. After a while, I open my eyes to see that it is dark now, and all the people left. I decide to get up and head back home. As I start walking, I run into somone. I look up to say sorry, and I see a blue-eyed, green-haired man that I know oh-so-well.
