Lily's POV
"Lily, get on the train! You don't want to miss your first year of Hogwarts!" Albus yelled. Shoot, he was right. I gave Mum and Dad a quick peck on the cheek and jumped onto the train right as it was pulling out of the station. I walked into the compartment and sat next to Al. "Geez, Lily. You're going to see Mum and Dad for Christmas. Why'd you take so long?" James asked from around his girlfriend, Alice Longbottom. It took forever for the rest of us to get them together. Alice had a crush on James for like forever, but James was such a prat that he didn't see what was right in front of him till last year. Alice would always come round for dinner over the summer, which is how I knew her. "I lost track of time, J. Give it a rest," I retorted. "Yeah, Jamsie." cousin Fred said with a smirk. Fred was James' best friend since birth practically. So in our compartment were:
Yours truly, Lily Luna Potter,
Albus and James Potter, my brothers,
cousins Fred(George and Angelina's son), Rose and Hugo (Aunt Hermione and Uncle Ron's)
and Alice Longbottom, her brother Will, the Scamander brothers, and Amanda Finnegan.
Hugo, Will, Amanda and I were all firsties this year. Hugo and Will were animatedly chatting about what House they wanted to get once we got to Hogwarts. Amanda and I had just come back from changing... "ANYTHING FROM THE TROLLEY?" Hold on, I need FOOD.
"What would you like, dears?" the food trolley witch asked, as Amanda and I ran up to her. "Yes," I replied, "I would like five Chocolate Frogs, two packages of Every Flavor Beans, and two Pumpkin Pasties," I ordered. "Wow, Lils!" Fred laughed "You planning to feed all of us?" I stuck my tongue out at Fred as I handed the witch the money. I sat back down and tore off a Pumpkin Pasty wrapper as I resumed my conversation with Amanda. I ended up dozing off a little bit on the way there and was shaken awake by Hugo. 'Lily! We're here!"
