Angelica woke up before the sun peaked out of her window just like every weekday. Today was slightly different though; today was the Valentine's Day dance and the theme is Paris. Angelica was never a fan of going to the hell hole called Eastwood High School but the government said she had no choice on going. Not to mention she was on the dance committee against her will because of the few friends she has made her.
The bus ride was dreadful as usual. As soon as she got in her seat she put in her earbuds and put her music up on top volume. While the shallow girls talked about guy drama and who's texting who about whatever, Angelica focused on her song lyrics. Angelica wasn't the most social flower in the garden but she would have it any other way. She didn't like talking to girls because with all the fun comes twice as much drama. Angelica did not want to deal with all the who's dating who and who stole who's boyfriend it was way to shallow.
When Angelica hopped off the bus she was greeted by her friend Harley. Harley was very pretty with short brown hair and blue eyes. It seemed that everyone in Angelica's friend circle was beautiful except her. Lots of boys were attracted to her friends but so far there hasn't been any attracted to her. While Harley went on and on about the dance, Angelica was in her own world thinking in weather or not Jake will be here today. Jake was 6'2 with hazel eyes, brown hair, a great sense of humor, and much more.
Latin, Angelica's first class, went by really fast considering it was just review which meant drawing time for her. Before she new it the bell rang and she was racing to gym. Gym was her favorite class but that's not why she was running so fast. It was the only time she could see Jake on an A day. He hasn't been here for a day and the last time he missed school was because he got a serious concussion from football. Angelica was seriously worried about him, Jake wouldn't answer his text or calls. It was Friday now and she was even more worried than before. He wasn't in the hallway like usual, even though he would never give her a second glance she would watch him laugh and mess around with his friends. It was her favorite part of the day.
