"Let me think about it." I thought to myself for about two seconds before answering. "I thought, and my answer is... No."
Jerrimiah stood up and sat back on his chair. He turned away from me acting rebellious while I sat there and laughed my butt off at him for being so childish. I brought my attention back to the math book and read another problem aloud.
"If Jimmy has seven hundred sixty-two apples and he eats two hundred twenty-five, how many apples does Jimmy have left?"
He ignored me again. "Ok, fine. Ignore me. I'm out, see you next time!" I packed my things and stood up when I felt a warm hand on my wrist. Startled, I turned around to acknowledge this hand.
"Please, will you give me a chance?" Maybe a player will change for the better. Should I give him a chance? Yea, I will.
"Ok, ok. I'll be your so called 'Fake Girlfriend.'" He jumped up and squeezed me almost sucking the life out of me. I guess he noticed I was gasping for air because he quickly let go.
"Thanks," he thankfully said, and something about that 'thanks' seemed genuine; he meant it.

"So, do you have a plan to get her back?" I asked, simply looking for answers.
He looked at me and shrugged. "No, not really. Just stand in front of her and, you know, flirt, like a normal couple."
He dropped me off at my place and gave me a wink. I wanted to melt right there on my porch but I didn't. As soon as I reached my room I threw my book bag on the couch and plopped face first on my bed.
I slept for a good 10 minutes. Or so it felt like it... By the time I woke up it was time to get dressed for school. I threw on a black hoodie that read 1800-Hotline Bling and some denim jeans.
Jerrimiah's Point of view
My freakin stupid alarm clock interrupted my slumber as I went through the best dream ever. I remembered everything that happened yesterday, about the break up between me and Leah and that whole thing at tutorial. We've been doing this for, I don't know, a month and a half now and I've been getting pretty decent grades! Speaking of tutorial, I asked Mac out yesterday... What a day.
I put some khakis and a red t-shirt on then grabbed my things. The bus was passing so I put all the adrenaline in my body to use by darting towards the front door. I made it, luckily, even though I could just walk to school because it's right behind my house.
The bus ride was long and silent considering it was 8 in the morning; nobody wants to hear screaming and yelling at this time of day. I reached the school with 20 minutes to spare. I grabbed my breakfast and waited at the table for Mac to notice me and we could get our act on. I spotted her walking through the door in a Hotline Bling hoodie and beautiful jeans. Little did she know it but she was so freakin pretty. I liked her, but I like Leah more, and that's why I'm trying to win her over.
She rushed over to where I was and put her show face on. "Hey, Jerrimiah!" She hugged me as she said that. I hugged her back, inhaling the fresh vanilla scent of her hair. She pulled away and her eyes caught mine. I was so lost in her beautiful blue eyes that I didn't notice her calling me.
I snapped out of my zone and answered. "Yes?"
She whispered in my ear, "Let's go find Leah." I simply nodded and stood up. I wrapped my hand around her waist as we strolled down the halls searching for Leah and her hell of a boyfriend Justin.
Mac tapped my back and pointed in the direction of the crowded area near the lockers. There was a big circle and in the middle was Leah and Justin. They were making out for who knew how long.
"Mac, you're the best girl I've ever met," I spoke up rather loudly so the whole hall could hear. I got everyone's attention towards me and Mac, including Leah.
Mac looked at me like I was crazy and kicked me in the shin. I whispered in her ear, "Don't worry. Just follow my lead."
"Aww, that's so sweet. You're awesome too," she squealed. Mac wasn't half bad at acting, she was doing an awesome job at this. I caught Leah giving her a not-so-happy look. I smirked when she saw me and quickly looked away. Mac saw too, so without a word she planted her lips onto mine. I accepted it, and kissed her back. By now, the whole school was looking at us in awe. For more affect, she ran her hands through my curly hair and I put my hands down close to her butt and she flinched.
With all the kissing going on, I heard Leah say, "Come on, Justin. Let's get to class." Score! She was already getting jealous! When I knew they were out of sight, I pulled away from Mac.
With her gorgeous blue eyes wide open she said, "Wow." I laughed as she sat there and stared at me speechless.
"Haha, I know I'm a good kisser. You aren't too bad yourself," I said between laughs.
"Shut up."
Mac's Point Of View
Butterflies went through my stomach as Jerrimiah and I kissed in the halls. Kissing was his specialty, I guess. Why am I feeling like this? It's not like I have feelings for him, psh. Nonsense.
Before the kiss, I caught Leah's glare on me so I had to think of something quick. Hey, that's the only thing the author, MALACHI, could think of. Blame her not me!
Jerrimiah pulled me out of my swarm of thoughts by tugging my arm. "Mac, I'm gonna walk you to class," he murmured. With that said, we linked arms and walked down to Bio. Apparently, we were late to class by 3 minutes. Big deal, I thought to myself.
Oh, but it was a big deal. Mr. Parker was already annoyed and the classroom yapping about our kiss was annoying him even more.
"Mac and Jerrimiah, would you like to explain why you two are late?" He never liked me so he would go out of his way to ruin my life. There were plenty of other kids who were late but he was only trying to get on my nerves.
"Um, because I was-" I struggled for words.
"She was in the bathroom and since I'm her boyfriend, I waited patiently outside for her to finish," Jerrimiah answered for me.
The teacher glared at me in disgust and spoke up. "Hm, fair enough. Take a seat."
I sat at the seat in the far back of the classroom. Tailed behind me was Jerrimiah who seemed too happy to be Jerrimiah, especially when we had just gotten in trouble.
