"Hi, everybody, um, my name is Josh," the buggy-eyed, golden-skinned young man said.

"Hi, Josh, I'm Rosemary," our group therapy leader introduced. "What brings you here, Josh?"

"Um, my, uh, my sisters-" his head dropped and his eyes filled with tears. He took a shaky breath before continuing. "I went on a trip with my two sisters and a group of our friends. Some members of the group played a prank on Hannah- uh, my sister." He stared at one of the carpet tiles, seeing something else. "A really cruel prank. They humiliated her and laughed at her, so she ran out of the cabin, a-a-and Beth followed her, and that was the last time they were seen."

"If I may ask, where were you when your sisters ran out of the cabin?"

He rubbed his face with both hands and pressed his palms together. "I was- sleeping."

"Were there adults with you?"

"No, I was supposed to be in charge."

"How does that make you feel?"

He sneers, "I hate myself for it. I should have been there; I should have gone after them."

"When was this?"

"Um, about a month ago."

Rosemary nodded solemnly. "So you're harboring guilt because of their disappearance?"

"Of course I'm guilty!" he shouted. "I am the reason they are dead."

"I thought they went missing."

"They haven't been found yet, there's no way they could have survived."

"Where was this?"

"Blackwood Mountain in Alberta."

"Hi, I'm Brook," I introduced myself during a break, extending a hand.

He took it and shook. "Josh."

"That really sucks- what happened to your sisters."

"Yah."

"My parents were murdered three months ago. Feels like it was just yesterday."

"Were you close?"

"Very."

He nodded and ran a hand over his dark, short, wavy hair. "I used to be close to my dad, but he sort of became a workaholic, so I spent more time with my sisters. We were really close, you know?"

"What does your dad do?"

"He's a film producer," Josh said with pride, a small, crooked smile showed through. "I was going to become a producer too, but since the accident, I dropped out of college. I'm still trying to get things figured out."

"Sure. Hey, do you want to grab a cup of coffee after this? I know this awesome café down the street."

He smiled at me. "Sounds great."
