1. The MATVWLT Fanfiction Contest – We got so many terrific entries it was hard to choose only one. The winning story, by @xxTaylorswiftswagxx, was called "Pickles Amazing First Flop." It takes place about two years before Waverly arrives at West Marin Heights. Pickles definitely has a hard day. 2. Vampire Poetry Contest. Yes, vampire poetry. It wasn't my fault. Pierce Knightguard made me do it. And it was amazing! We got some terrific vampire poems. The winner was @ SarojnSingh with her poem Eternity with You. Because it is awesome, I am reprinting it here:
Eternity With You!
On an empty path
I walk alone
In a colourless world
Of the unknown.
Like the perpetual sea waves
Reaching for the shore
Like a long forgotten past
Living alone from the lore.
Everyday, rises the sun
But the brilliant rays
Always fail to illuminate
My indefinite dark days.
Ever wandering, ever searching
In this unending journey
For a steady destination
Which constantly eludes me.
And then you come
In my lonely life
And save my scarred soul
From the endless strife.

We are going to do the contest again this summer. It is called the Annual Under the Sea Writing Contest, so we kind of have to do it annually. I think that gives you an idea of what Minionship is all about. But before I go, I want to call out a couple of special Minions. First, I have to thank @MinionO1. She is basically the head Minion. She is a bright star in the Minion world. I cannot even say how grateful I am for her kindness and enthusiasm. Next, I want to thank @Bloom110. She is a dear friend who has been corresponding with me regularly via PM practically since I started on Wattpad. She is an example of someone who makes authentic relationships with people on the site. There are so many more Minions I should thank, but I can't do them all right now because we might actually break Wattpad if I do.
Now, the moment you've been waiting for. As you saw from the FanArt contest, there are a lot of incredible people out there who can draw. This impresses me greatly, because I can't even draw a stick figure. But there you go. The winner of the Pierce and Waverly category was @KitKatz4evr. Because of her enormous talent at Manga, I commissioned her to do a manga for Chapter 3 of MATVWLT. It's the chapter where Pierce and Waverly meet and Pierce accidentally kisses/bites Waverly. I am now going to give you a sneak peak of the first frame. And on Valentine's Day of 2016, I will post the entire thing as a chapter in MATVWLT. It is incredible. A million thanks to @KitKatz4ever.
