We yearn to know the truth.
We are told it will set us free.
Where demons and secrets are buried deep.
When we find the truth we wish we didn't.
We loved the bliss in our ignorance.
Where being naive has no difference.
But as we pull back the covers and find what's underneath.
We sometimes wish we never peeked. And as as we grow old we find more truths in the secrets we never told.
