Kidnapped By Joshua Matthews

Josh's POV

It had been two weeks since I shot and almost killed Maya Hart. I went to jail for rape, assault, attempted murder, and kidnapping. I was sentenced to life in jail. I wish I had what Lucas and Maya had. I have liked her from the berry beginning, but she had cowboy.

That was the last they thought they'd be seeing of me.

Lucas's POV

"How you doing Maya?"

"Better."

"Well I'm here now and I'll be here until you feel good."

"Lucas?"

"Yes Maya?"

"You lied to me."

"What? When?"

"Why didn't you come after Josh when he was pulling me away?"

"'Maya I-"

"Haha Ranger Rick thought I was mad at him."

"And there's the Maya I know and love."

"What?"

"Um... I love you."

"Oh."

She wasn't saying anything... Did I push too hard?

"Hey Lucas?"

"Yeah Maya?"

"I think we should just stay friends."

"Oh. Um... I best be going then. Bye Maya Hart."

Maya's POV

I felt terrible but I had to because as long as Josh was alive, Lucas was in danger and I couldn't hurt him. But what I said hurt him more that anything else.

"Wait Lucas!"

"What?"

"Come lay with me."

"Sure."

"Hey Lucas you know why I did that right?"

"No. And I'm sorry I shouldn't have pushed all that on you you are going through a tough time and I made it wor-"

"I love you too."

"Really?"

He was smiling like a little boy with chocolate ice cream.

"Yeah. And as long as you are with me you are in danger."

"Maya I don't think you understand that nothing Josh could do to me would hurt me an much as loosing you would."
