Shocking me

Hi Guys , sorry for the late Update ! This is the new Chapter and I know that this is short , but the time I had to write it in was also , sooo please bear with me .

Angi's POV :

When me and Rick arrived at Ms. Patterns House , the air around us was thick and tense . We were a couple . And he was Emma's ex . I loved him but I loved Ems too, after all she was my best friend ... or ..she had been .

' You really want to go in there ? The last time you talked to her she had a break down and nearly hurt you . ' Rick wrapped his arms around me and nuzzled his nose into my neck . I rolled my eyes at him ' I can handle myself , thank you very much ' He snorted ' I just don't want you to get hurt '

A deep sigh escaped my mouth , expressing how melancholic I was feeling ' I don't think anything can hurt more than to be the reason for the break down of your best friend Rick . ' I turned around and pecked him on the lips ' I love you ' He smiled softly and kissed me on the forehead ' I love you too '

Entering the Living room , I chatted with Rick , but I noticed that he wasn't listening , instead he was staring at something behind me .Wondering what it was , I turned around , I looked around the room .

4/5 were sitting on the couch , joined by Simon. all of them smiling slightly , but hesitantly . Loredana and Heike were standing in the door frame of the kitchen , grinning and trying not to giggle by the looks of it... and then there were Niall and Emma .

Niall's arm was wrapped around Ems and holding her trashing figure in the air , while the other hand was tickling her . She was laughing like a maniac and trying to get out of his arms , which he didn't let her do.

The next thing I noticed , was Niall's soft laugh .I loved his laugh . He had been my favorite from the beginning , his smile had been my favorite thing before I met Rick . In the last month there was barely a picture where he smiled , not even one video where he laughed . His eyes had been dull and shady .

We , the fandom , had been sure that something was wrong and had worried about him a lot recently. He kept distance to the boys , even though he was trying to cover it up , when he touched them , he was hesitant and when they talked to him he was tense .

To see him laughing like that , was a huge relieve to my heart and I could hardly resist the urge to film this and show the rest of us to calm them a little , but I couldn't do that , they shouldn't know yet where the boys were.

' N-Niall sto-hop it ! ' Ems shouted and you could clearly see the anger in her eyes . The room became eerily silent as Niall let her down and tried to keep the grin of his face . She spun around to him and tried to punch him , but he dodged the blow and instead of cowering away , he poked her in the side , which made her squeal . This kid seriously had a death wish !

He kept teasing her and she got angrier by the second, but either he didn't notice it , which I doubted or he didn't care how much he pissed her off . How stupid !

When she was kicking him , he grabbed her leg and pulled her towards him , making her crash into his chest . ' Ouch ! '

She tried to push him away , but he kept her in his arms , until she relaxed and responded to the hug . When she finally did he grinned and said ' Now , about the hiccuping '

She growled and hissed ' Yeah , fine ! Its gone , just don't do that again ! ' Emma crossed her arms and pouted .

I decided that we should say hello ' Uh Hey ' I greeted awkwardly . I even fluking waved ! What is wrong with me ?! Okay Angi you can do this , you have been in the same room with them before , you can do this !

' Angi , good to see you again ! How are you ? ' Emmas mother chirped and pulled me into a quick hug . I saw Emma glaring and quickly avoided her gaze and simply greeted the boys . I smiled at Niall , but he was concentrated on Emma , whispering stuff to her , that made her frown and huff . When she gave him a curt nod he smirked and winked at me .

Now , Rick didn't like that I smiled at him after his wink and he put his hand on my waist possessively . Emma saw and looked away . Smooth Rick !

I shot my boyfriend a warning glare and he understood and took his hand away . In this moment Emma came over and said ' Hello Angelina ' Her voice was cold as Ice and Niall sighed which made her groan . She turned halfway towards him with an annoyed look , but he kept glaring and even raised and eyebrow before she turned back to me .

I noticed that she was avoiding eyecontact , before she said ' I mean ...how are you doing ? ' As her eyes flickered to Rick and got even harder , I knew that she couldn't care less about how I was doing . I pretended that I didn't notice and said ' Hi Ems , oh , it could be better you know , but its fine . Isn't it Rick ? ' He only nodded and looked away from her . He was just as ashamed as I was .

Emma's POV :

When she said that it could be better , I nearly exploded . I quickly made fists and clenched my jaw before I gave the two traitors a curt nod and practically ran back to Niall . ' Are you pleased now ? ' He nodded ' immensely ! Come on Ems , our Movie wasn't finished yet '

We turned to leave but Louis called ' What are you doing ? ' I saw Niall tense and instinctively put a hand on his shoulder ,calming my friend . He turned around and tried to keep calm when he answered ' We're going to finish our movie ...we couldn't finish it because miss over there kept hiccuping . ' I crossed my arms and glared , while his smirk grew . ' Did not ! You fell asleep ! Not my fault that we didn't finish the movie ! If anything it was yours , you had to chase me and torture me ! ' He was full on laughing now and shook his head

He nodded at the people in my living room and pulled me upstairs .

' But I wanna watch it again ! ' Niall whined ' I missed half of it ! '

' Not my fault that you fell asleep ! Should've stayed awake if you wanted to watch it so badly ! ' I argued back

' Please Ems ? Pretty please with a sherry on top ? ' He made his big blue baby eyes even bigger and stuck his lower lip out . This idiot did the puppy face almost better than me !

Being the stubborn ol' me , I decided to make a deal ' Okay , I will not watch it again now , but I promise to visit you when you're on Tour , so we can watch it again . Is that alright ? '

The Irish Guy nodded , but his gaze was on the wall , his eyes far away . ' Niall what is it ? ' my concern only grew when he refused to meet my eyes . He asked my lamp

' What got you so hurt that you can't look Angi in the eyes ? '

And this Ladys and Gentleman was the first time ever , that Emma Maren Pattern was shocked . I was shocked that he cared about me so much . I was shocked that he noticed things as little as these and had the guts to ask me about it . I was shocked that he was strong headed enough to make me be polite to somebody I despised .

Niall James Horan shocked me . But in a good way !
