EMILY'S POV

"Good night" my mum said tucking me into bed

"Good night" I replied as mum walked out of the room to go tuck in my 2 other sisters Brianna 4 and Haley 3. Brianna was one year younger then me and Haley was two.

I closed my eyes and fell asleep about 1hour later I heard noise out the back of the house.It sounded like someone was out the back.I ignored the sound and went back to sleep

ANN'S POV

I was siting in the lounge room on my own since Paul was asleep and the 3 Girls were in bed.Suddenly I heard a noise the noise was like keys banging against each other but it wasn't keys it was the side gate to the house.I stayed seated on the lounge hoping it was all just in my mind I closed my eyes taking a real deep breath. When I opened my eyes I saw a 30 year old guy standing In hall walking over towards me.The man had black jeans on and a black tee-shirt He was bloody tall and had a knife in his hand with dry blood on it and he had a beanie over his face.In the next few seconds I found the man In front of me shaking me and yelling at me "WHERE IS HE WHERE DID YOU PUT HIM"

"I DON'T KNOW"I yelled back

"YES YOU DO" he yelled back

But before I have the chance to say something back he was already stabbing me with his big silver shiny bloody knife.

EMILY'S POV

I heard grunting coming from down stairs the grunting was going for a good 30 secs.Then all the sudden it stopped I figured that something is happening down stairs.I got up out of bed quick smart bolting out past brianna's and haley's bedrooms bolting down the stairs to find mum on the floor with blood pouring out from her. A 30 year old man walked over to me not saying a word just placing the big shiny bloody knife In my hands leaving my hands with blood dripping of them he grabbed the family laptop that was on the coffee table and he ran out. "DAD" I called "BRIANNA" "HALEY" "MUMS DEAD HELP" Dad come running out and yelled at me "WHY THE HELL DID YOU KILL YOUR MUM EMILY?" "YOU THINK I DID THIS IM A 5 YEAR OLD"I yelled back at him "EXPLAIN THE BLOOD AND THE KNIFE IN YOUR HAND?" "I looked down to see mum dead on the floor and this man in black handed me this knife" I said back to dad "I still don't Believe you STOP LIEING A TELL ME THE TRUTH" he said and walked into his room ringing 000

PAUL'S POV

I can't believe that a murderer has walked in and killed my wife and that i blamed poor little Emily for killing her Emily will never talk to me again.I wonder why they only took the laptop and why he came to this house I though to myself. I picked up the phone dialling 000 "hello may I speak to the police plz" "this is the police what do you need" "I was deep asleep and my wife got murreded and I woke up to my eldest child whose 5 calling my name saying that mum has died" "ok we will be right over"

EMILY'S POV

I ran up to my room crying my eyes out hoping this was all a dream.I pinched myself I got my sisters to pinch me as well but I didn't wake up this was reality my mum just got murded and dad though I killed mum why would he think this I love my Mum!
