Prolouge

Bradley's POV

The runs good. I'm running through the local park just trying to feel better. I mean, when your grandmother dies your trying to feel better aren't you? I just keep running trying to think of other things like: my guitar lessons or the dance performance I'm in or... I go down hard. Hell. I just crashed into a girl and we're both on the grass. "Umm sorry miss"
I know I sound stupid but what would you do if you crashed into a lady. "Girl" I correct myself as I pull her up. "It's okay she says. We just kind of stare at each other. "Well see ya." She says. "See ya" I say back. As I see her walk off I start to run back home thinking of that girl and why she didn't get mad that I crashed into her.

Sarah's POV

As I fall onto the grass, I wonder who crashed into me. I see the person get up and say: "Umm sorry miss" He helps me up. I realise it's a boy around my age. Then I remember him. I'm going to a new school and at the open day I saw this boy. He was quite nice I guess. I quickly realise were staring at each other. I feel like I should talk to him but the words that come are "Well see ya". Before I can take it back he says: "See ya" I walk away a bit happy he saw me so maybe we could be friends at our school.

Bryons POV

As I get a strike Cecil,my best friend, fumes. "Good job" he says through gritted teeth. Hes never been good at bowling and I've always beaten him. He picks up his bowling ball and aims. And looks. And aims. And looks. And aims. And looks. "Anytime now Cec" I say. "Quiet" he replies. "I'm trying to concentrate " He aims again and bowls. It goes perfectly down a line and hits all the pins. " YES" he shouts. "STRIKE" I slap him a high five. "Good job man" I then realise people are staring at us. I guess Cecil shouted to loud. Cecil looks a little embarrassed." Sorry everyone" I say. "It's my buddy's first time getting a strike" The people go back to playing their games. We go back to playing ours. Well we would if surprisingly this girl comes over to us. She looks strangely familiar. "Hi" she says. " Hi" me and Cecil say at then same time." Are you guys going to Hutt Valley High School?" That's it. I saw this girl at the open day. Guess she got in. " Um yea we both are" Cecil exclaims. "Cool just wanted to say I'm going there to and my names Avery" she says this with a smile. We kind of just smile back. Then she frowns. "Can I know what your names are"she asks. "Oh!Sorry! My names Bryon and this is Cecil. "Well I'll see you guys at school." She walks off and we wave bye. I look back at our alley.'I bowl and get a strike. "I win" I say simply. Cecil growls.

Averys POV

I'm with my family playing bowling when I hear it. Someone cheering a bit too loudly. I look over and a wave of surprise and happy comes over me. I see 2 kids from the open day from the school were going to. I wonder if I should go and say hi. I work up the courage too and walk over. It goes well. Up until the point were there staring at me. I have to ask for their names myself. I go back to my alley wondering if I should have stayed put and just talked to them at school. "Where'd you go Avery" my brother asks. "Just to say hi to hopefully some new normal friends.
