"I'M WALKING ON SUNSHINE...OOHHHHH....AND DON'T IT FEEL GOOD"

I opened my eyes to look over at my stupid alarm clock, I'm probably the worst morning person ever.

I hate school!! Well I hate waking up early, school starts early therefore it freaking sucks.

"Get up babes, you'll be late" My mom popped her head in my door.

"Up, See, I' m freaking walking on sunshine" I grumbled while getting up and heading towards my bathroom to take a shower.

"Ok... well... Noemi your going to have to drive Krista to school this morning, I have an appointment on the other side of town. House call."

"Sure, sure" I walked into the bathroom and started my day, showered, did my hair, and grabbed my school uniform. A white button up shirt with a tie, a plaid skirt- which I wore the proper way unlike half the girls at school- and a vest which had my school crest on the breast. I would consider myself very laid back for the most part. I love fashion and I love clothes, yet I'm not shallow and wear barley there clothes like half the girls I know do. I think I'm freaking awesome the way I am so why try to be like everyone else. Girls at my school are so fake, it gets on my nerves. Tons of make up, short shirts even shorter skirts or shorts. It always seemed counterproductive to act like a whore, and sleep around but expect to keep a boyfriend. Act like a hoe, get treated like a hoe. My mom is a psychiatrist, she is always talking to me about peer pressure and how the "teenage mind works" God, it's like the freaking never ending story with that women.

Don't walk around like a whore Noemi, no boy will respect you.

Boys will say anything to get you in bed Noemi, always hold out.

Noemi parting all night will only give you a bad reputation that will follow you forever

She always thought treating me like an adult would make me more responsible. In a way it did, I don't sleep around and I don't let people pressure me into anything. I go to a lot of parties, but never get drunk. But I sneak out a lot and tend to do what I want, when I want, regardless the punishment. If it's worth the trouble then it probably fun which means, I'm down!

I picked a pair of high heeled boots and headed down the hall to my baby sisters room, Krista and I, always had a great relationship. She is only 10, and I'm 16, yet she gets me. For real, a few times I almost got caught sneaking in before my mom would wake up to go to work and there would be Krista distracting her or lying to save me. That's my baby girl, always looking out for me.

I taught her so well.

"Hey punk, ready to leave?" I said with affection in my tone.

Krista was in her room, blaring music while, well it looked like she was doing the dougie. She is so cute.

God, I love that kid.

"Yea, coming." She grabbed her back pack, turned off the music and walked towards me all the while bobbing her head to a beat in her head. We both headed to the kitchen for our lunch money.

My mom thought that I having a license was important. She told me that having a car was necessary in life. My mom drove a beautiful Range Rover. Guess what my mom got me?

A Neon!

Ugh, I know. My mom said that everyone's first car is supposed to be shit. Her words, not mine.

I call it the beater, because that's what it is. A piece of shit on wheels.

Krista and I got in and headed to school, Krista's was only a few blocks from mine. She got out ran to her little group of friends. Driving to my school only took 5 minutes, I pulled into the parking lot found a spot and got out.
