I was laying down on the lounge chair outside near the pool when I hear Thomas coming up looking at me with a grim smile. I sit up looking at him confused "What's going on?" I chuckle nervously he bends down on 1 knee I gasp letting the shock sink in "Spencer Hastings I love you so much and I want to spend every moment with you Will you Marry me?" Tears escape my eyes I nod he slips the diamond ring on my finger I wrap my arms around his neck kissing him sweetly "Yes!!" I say again he chuckles rubbing my cheek "I love you Spencer"
Spencer-
I'd called mum and the other girls telling them the news I was excited but I was also a slight upset. I cared about Thomas with all my heart that's never going to change I just think about what it would of been like if Toby had proposed.

Veronica-
After Spencer telling me the news about Her and Thomas engaged I knew what I had to do. I grab my phone walking upstairs into my room sitting on the edge of the bed I remember I'd put Toby's number into my phone In case I ever needed to contact him. And I definitely needed to contact him now
"Hello?" His voice is music to my ears
"Toby Hi it's Veronica"
Toby-
"Toby Hi It's Veronica" Why was Veronica calling me? I hadn't spoken to Veronica in 5 years
"Uh Hi Veronica What a surprise what can I do for you?"
"It's about Spencer" She sighs heavily me heart was pounding so fast...She was calling me about Spencer?
"What's wrong with her?" I Finally find my voice
"S-She's engaged Toby" I fall on to the lounge She was engaged did I even hear that right?
"I'm not really sure what this has to do with me" I honestly say I hadn't spoken or seen Spencer in 5 years If she's moved on well I'm surprised because I don't think I ever can.
"Toby please I know you and Spencer ended things all those years ago but she's never been the same since you left. I know she cares about Thomas but she loves you she's never stopped please come back before she makes the biggest mistake of her life" I sigh heavily running a hand through my hair "Veronica look it's been 5 years I'm the last thing on your daughters mind Trust me on that. It's not my place anymore I'm glad she's moved on" I hear her sigh on the other end of the phone "Please just think about it She'll regret this Toby" I knew Spencer better than anyone but I didn't know what to do in this situation.
"I'm sorry Veronica but All I've ever cared about was Spencer's happiness and if she's happy then I'm happy" I say I hear her curse before talking "She won't be happy if she goes through with this Truth be told Toby she loves you and I'll be dammed if I ever said she didn't still want you" I stand up with mixed emotions running through me I was angry but also slightly relived "I love your daughter and I'd do anything to get her back but I don't know if she'd take me back if she's considering marrying this Thomas guy" I hear her shuffling around before talking again "If you really want her back then you'll come and tell her just how much you do love her" I run a hand through my hair nodding She was right I loved Spencer I'd do my everything to win her back Spencer belonged with me. "I'll see you in 2 days Veronica" I hang up sitting back on the lounge smiling thinking of seeing Spencer again
Oh how I missed my Baby girl
