You Have a Child From a Previous Relationship

Even though it wasn't a fancy place, you and Avia both got dressed up. You wore a nice baby blue blouse, black skinny jeans, a gray infinity scarf, and some beige boots. Avia was dressed in a pink sweater with brown leggings and some converse, even though you had told her to wear something a little more nice, you ultimately accepted the fashion statement she was setting. As you two walked into the ice cream shop, your stomach erupted in butterflies as you saw the curly hair of your boyfriend.

"Mommy, is that him?" Avia asked you, pointing directly at the back of Ashton's head.

You've showed her pictures before of him, so it'd be easy for her to spot him.

"That's Ashton, sweets. You wanna go say hi?" You said, letting go of your daughters hand and watched her shyly walk up to Ash.

You slowly followed behind her and smiled as she tapped his arm and he spotted her.

"Oh my god, you must be Miss Avia (Y/L/N)!" Ashton exclaimed to himself, extending his hand and shaking Avia's small one.

Avia nodded and waved to him and said a faint 'hi' back. You came up behind her and gave Ash a peck on the cheek. He looked back at you with so much love in his eyes, you couldn't help but to break a smile. You and Avia sat in the booth across from Ashton, and properly introduced each other.

"Ash, this is my daughter Avia Leigh. Ava, this is mommy's boyfriend Ashton."

"She's beautiful, (Y/N). She's so lucky to have a great mommy like you." Ashton added. You smiled and held his hand on the tabletop, so happy he was excited to meet Avia.

The rest of the afternoon was spent eating loads of ice cream, with Avia totally beating you and Ashton combined on the sundaes that were consumed. After paying the hefty bill, you three went back to your house. Avia grabbed Ashton's forefinger and pulled him upstairs to her room, where they played 'Princesses, Mermaids, and Jungle Animals' for a while. You followed them up there after a while and sat down next to Ashton, kissing him happily and resumed watching the loves of your lives enjoy the company of each other.

MICHAEL

Being 9 months pregnant with your ex's baby was not the easiest thing to deal with, physically, emotionally, and mentally. After 2 hours of walking around the mall with your best friend/boyfriend, Michael, made you feel like you were going to drop dead. You often cried yourself to sleep because your ex told you he never wanted to see you or the baby in his life. Michael would try to help you when you got stressed out with work and had an anxiety attack because of all the things you had to do. You felt like if Michael wasn't there, you'd probably be balled up in bed, constantly in a state of depression.

Each day you get through is an accomplishment. As you approached your due date, you and Michael tried to get everything ready for the new baby girl that you were expecting in a few days. The two of you decided on the name Madeline Kate, well Michael came up with it, and you loved it from the start. Her room was purple, with pink and brown accents. It was just about ready, all you had to do was fold the clothes your parents and Michael's parents have given you over the past 9 months, and get the bedding in her crib. You sat in the dark brown rocking chair that was right next to the windows, and folded the little onesies, dresses, socks, shirts, and hats. You smiled to yourself as you folded the last yellow onesie, and watched Michael place the floral bedding in the crib that will soon hold your daughter. A few laughs escape your mouth as you see him get frustrated, and stuff the material in random places.

"Mike, let me help you." You offered, slowly getting up and putting the bedding in all the correct places.

He sighed and wrapped his arms around your waist.
