Drying my hands off, I grabbed my phone and then decided I was happy enough with the photo to post it on Instagram with a silly caption about bubbles.

As I was about to put my phone down when suddenly I got a dm from none other than Theo Parker.

@theo_parker: Having fun with your bubbles there? ☺

@ellaslaterx: Oh, absolutely. 😛

@theo_parker: Don't let them clog your brain. You need to start processing some math 😉

@ellaslaterx: Way to be a weekend killer ._. But don't worry. I won't let it 😂

@theo_parker: Great  🤣 see you tomorrow ☺️

@ellaslaterx: tomorrow it is 👋🏽

I couldn't help but smile a little as I put my phone down and then focused my attention on what was happening on the TV screen.

Just then, Kendall entered my bathroom. "Hey, spaz. Don't you wanna come shopping with me?"

I scoffed and rolled my eyes. "Why do you need to do any more shopping? You have a lifetime's supply of clothes."

"Just come with me," She said, tracing her fingertips over all the bubbles.

"Can't you call one of your friends and ask them to go with you?" I asked, really not wanting to go with her.

"They're all busy," She shrugged. "And besides, I wanna spend some time with my baby sister."

"Um, ew, Fiiine," I groaned, reaching for the plug and pressing it down so that it popped up and let the water go down the drain.

"Meet me downstairs in ten," She said as she walked out.

After drying myself off, I headed into my closet to pick out an outfit for this occasion.

Eventually, I decided on wearing a black mini skirt, a pair of black stockings, a maroon red pullover and a pair of black low-heeled ankle boots.

I pulled my hair into a neat french braid and then quickly applied my make-up before grabbing my handbag and purse before heading downstairs.

"Wow, you actually kind of look cute for once," My sister said as we headed down to the garage to her car.

"Fuck off," I muttered.

The drive to the mall was fine and we spent the time just listening to music from the mixtape that we had made of all our favourite songs. I don't exactly get along with my sister most of the time, but there are certain occasions where we get our inner sister bond on.

"So, what's up with you and the hot tutor?" Kendall asked as we browsed through clothes in Gucci.

"Nothing," I shrugged.

She raised an eyebrow. "Really?"

"Really," I nodded, suddenly thinking about the dare again.

I still feel bad. I mean, Theo's a really nice guy. But then again, there could be the god-send that he doesn't fall in love with me.

As my sister and I continued to shop around the mall, I found myself actually having fun with her and forgetting about everything else, until we decided to head to Starbucks before going home.

"Hey, isn't that hot Mr Tutor guy?" Kendall asked, pointing in a direction. Looking to where she was pointing, it was indeed Theo with his friend, Indigo.

"Yeah, that's him," I nodded.

"Damn, he has a girlfriend?" She asked.

As we stood carefully watching Theo and Indigo talk, but without looking suspicions, I thanked God that the two of us had this gift of being able to check people out without being noticed.

"No, that's just his friend," I told her.

At this moment in time, Theo looked particularly attractive in a pair of black skinny jeans and a dark blue v-neck. His dark hair was in its usual style with his fringe sweeping over his eyes.

As if on cue, I managed to divert my eyes just as he noticed me and waved.

I'm a particularly good actress and managed to make it seem as though I had just seen him, and waved back.

"Please can we just go get coffee now?" I asked Kendall.

"Yeah, okay," She laughed as we walked towards my favourite coffee shop.

As we walked, I couldn't help but turn back to look at Theo, who was already looking back at me.

"You like him, don't you?" Kendall asked me.

I shook my head. "No way," I said. "He's just my tutor."

"For now," She mumbled.

No, I will never like him in that way. He just has to like me.
