"Ok mom, I'm ready," I told my mother, Melissa. I was happy with my outfit today. I had curled my hair and left it down, I wore a bright fluorescent green dress, tight at top and flowing at the bottom ending a few centimetres above my knee, knee high white socks finished with some high top fluorescent green converse. I grabbed my plain magenta coloured back pack and ran out the door to our black Range Rover, where my mom was driving us to school because we wouldn't have time to catch the bus.
"Hurry up Maddie! I'm going to be late!" Of course Mackenzie was the first to speak.
"Oh my gosh, Kenz, we still have 1 minute, or maybe less to get to school. Chill sister!" I replied, sounding more confident than I actually was about arriving at school on time.
