Chapter 3

I looked up to see Zero cradling me in his arms. I could fell myself blush, He had yet to notice that I was awake. He was just sitting on the couch watching Jaws, I realized that he wasn't really paying attention so, I just rested my head back on his shoulder and snuggled closer to him. I was so close that I could hear his heartbeat, it was calm and his body heat was warm. After a minute or two he said, " Are you done having your fun?" My face was red it looked like I was wearing a mask. I replied with a simple. "I don't want too!" He just smiled and said, " Fine." He stood up with me still in his arms. Well he was packing me in one arm but still. I asked, "Where are we going?" He sat me down on the couch and said, " I'm going to go use the restroom." He paused and with a smile on his face asked, " Unless you want to come with me?" I looked at him and said, " No!" He swept up behind me and I could feel his warm breath touch my neck. I made a squeaky noise and jumped off of the couch. He helped you up and headed off the the bathroom. I got up and thought I'll make us some snacks. I waddled to the kitchen but the only snacks I could reach was the peanut butter and jelly plus a loaf of bread. I made me a sandwich then a thought came to mind. What if he's allergic to peanuts? I ran the the bathroom, but he wasn't in there! I made my way upstairs. I checked Victor's study and his room. Plus Derrick's room and Ravens room. I was in a quick dash towards my room. I ran past my game room and a saw a dark figure standing in there. Which scared me so bad that I thought that my heart was gonna jump out of my chest and run away. I built up enough courage to enter the room, I snuck in to see Zero looking at my old family photos. He turned around and seemed like he could cry. I ran up to him and hugged him. He said, "Mis..ty?" In a confused voice. I looked up at him and said, "What you looked like you needed a hug." He smiled then slung me over his shoulder and began to spin around. He stopped and ran back down stairs. By this time he had me in his arms and jumped and landed on the couch. As soon as his back hit, all you could hear was a loud pop. Then bam the couch gave out, I was laying on top of him. I looked at him with a serious face. He looked up at me, while scratching the back of his head and said, " I'll pay for a new couch!" I was still staring at him, before he could speak I said, "Are you allergic to peanuts or jelly or wheat?" He said, " No?" I said, "Are you allergic to anything?" He still responded with, "Nope." "Wait!.. Why do you ask?" He said in a rather panicked voice. " I was gonna make us some food. But, I can't reach the food I need to make a actual meal. So I was just gonna make us some." Before I could finish I felt something soft rub against my lips. I open my eyes and Zero is to close. He had his finger on my lip, so he could speak. He said, "All you had to do was ask if you needed help reaching stuff off of the top shelf of the kitchen cabinets." I was amazed at how nice this boy is being to me. I stopped for a second and asked, "Where is Victor,Derrick and Raven?" He thought for a second and said, " Well you fell backwards and hit your head off of the side table after taking a hit from Derrick. They all panicked and I guess that they forgot about me. They said something about going to go get your mom cause she's a nurse? Anyway. You were out for a few hours, So I have just been watching the Syfy channel for a while." He made a teasing face." And you just wrapped your arms around me!" Then he blushed a little and mumbled under his breath. " You looked cuter that way." He said scratching the back of his head."Thx." I said, I stood up and wattled into the kitchen. After a few minutes I heard a voice come from the couch, "Hey. What are you doing?" "You said that you would help me make food." I replied with a smile.
I heard footsteps coming into the kitchen, I looked up and watched as he just lifted his arm and simply reached the top self and pulled down the Mac and cheese. He handed the box to me and said, "Here shortie!" And just laughed. I waited a few minutes and got us both out a box to cool.
He got up to go use the restroom. And I flipped the Tv over to the news channel and that ad was on tv for that show that Raven watches the Blackgate's. A alert went off and the message at the bottom of the screen read. Braking News teen idol Zero Blackgate is missing, reward for finding his kidnappers!
I turned around to grab the remote and change the channel, but he already had it in his hands. He hit the off button and said, "So now that you know who I really am are you going to turn me in? Are you gonna flip out?" I just smiled and said, " There must have been a good reason for you leaving. Plus your my friend now whether you like it or not. You can stay here if you want. I can put you up in one of our guest rooms." He gave me a hug to say thanks.
