Chapter Two

Niall's POV

It's been two days since we've been home. He's still sleeping most of the day, I still have no idea what I'm going to do. Our families are supportive and keep us in their prayers but i need more than that. I need the biggest miracle. Harry, Louis, and Liam have all tried to help but Louis always breaks down into tears and has to be escorted by Harry out the door. I know they're trying to help but hell it's hard on all of us. Liam has been the biggest help. He helps me watch Zayn even though I stay next to him most of the time, only to leave him when duty calls or to get him some food. It's still really hard for me to eat though, I put on my fake face for Zayn but I know he can see right through it. In the days we've been at home, I've been thinking on how I'm gonna act as normal as possible and also make these next months count. I know what my first move is though. I've sent Liam out to buy me a ring. I'm gonna ask Zayn to marry me. It was always a dream of his, so I'm making it happen.

It wasn't long after Zayn had woken up that Liam called up the stairs and walked up.

"Hello Zayn, how are you feeling?" Liam asked him as he swifty put his hands into his jacket pockets, luckily Zayn didn't notice.

"I actually feel good. I feel like walking downstairs and maybe even outside for just a minute." He replied with a smile on his face.

"Sounds like a great idea to me, what do you think Niall?" Liamsaid with a knowing smile

" Yeah that sounds like fun. Are you sure you feel okay though babe?" I asked Zayn

"I'm sure, i just want to freshen up a bit though."

"Okay, well I'll be downstairs with Liam if you need anything." I said as he walked into the bathroom and quietly shut the door

Liam and I quickly made our way downstairs as i asked him if he got the ring. " I got it right here! Oh gosh Niall I'm so excited!" he gushed as he pulled out the box

My mouth fell open as I saw what the little velvet square contained. Inside was a silver band with little diamonds all the way around,'Forever and Always'  was engraved on the inside of the band. The ring sparkled proudly. it was truly astonishing.

"Wow, Liam! This is beautiful! Where did you find this?"

"It was really no trouble at all and just at the little jewelry shop on the corner. The engraving was free so that's a plus" he chickled as I put the ring back into the bosx and stuffed it into my pocket.

"Thank you so much, Li. You really don't know how much all you've done means to me!" I said as he wrapped me into a hug. I couldn't help a little tear roll down my face.

"Guys, what's going on?" Zayn asked as I saw him make is way down the stairs.

"Oh nothing babe, I was just thanking Liam for everything he's done for us."

"Oh yeah. Thank you LiLi. So much!" Zayn said as he made it to the bottom and wrapped Liam in a hug.

"Boys, it's really no problem at all. You guys are my family and I would do anything to help. I love you guys!" Liam gushed

"We love you just as much!" Zayn shouted

"I'm gonna go to my flat for a little while, give you guys some alone time. Don't worry though I'll be back soon, probably just in time to make dinner." He said and winked at me as he walked out the door.

"Wat was that wink about?" Zayn asked definsively

He saw it, "I can promise you nothing, just something we need to discuss on this little outting of yours. Nothing to worry about, love."

"Well if you say so"

"Are you ready to go outside now?"

"Yes, I think I am"

Good, now to put Plan A and Step One into action. Now's not the time to get nervous Niall! Get it together!!!!!!
