This memory makes her cringe, she knew he was only caring for her. She takes a deep breath, holds it, then lets it out. She's been sober for almost 2 months now, the last time it'd barely been 3 weeks. She'd made it through the holidays, and it was a miracle. She stopped walking and looked down the road she had to cross. No cars. She quickly sped across the road before stopping on the sidewalk. She looked at the school and smiled. She gets to see her friends again. She gets to see Jane, and Jake, and even Dirk again!
