On the train, Rainbowdash seated herself next to Fluttershy, who was staring wistfully at Applejack, who was next to Rare. They were chatting and blushing, both looking very happy.
"Hey, Flutters!" Dashie said, trying to act totally cool. Fluttershy sighed at her but seemed to muster up a brave smile. Rainbow realised she wasn't in chatting mood. Suddenly Pinkie popped out from nowhere.
"Comfort her, she's sad!" the party pony hissed in her ear. Rainbow looked at Fluttershy. She did look a little down.
"Look Fluttershy, I know you're upset, but-" she stopped. Fluttershy looked freaked out and alarmed.
"I'm sorry about that.." Rainbow sighed. She didn't know what Pinkie was on about, but she was right about something. Rainbow stared lovingly at her secret crush, Fluttershy, while she stared at Applejack and Rarity.
