Chapter 15

"I made a fire in every house and it started to warm the place," said Thor and walked towards the center of the city
" I searched in every house, building and shop for warm clothes but I didn't find enough," said Loki and Tony landed between them
"They're here," he said and Bard walked slowly and stopped when he saw you
"Welcome Bard the bowman to Dale go and sit by the fire to stay warm," said Thor with a grin and walked with Bard to one of the houses
"Sigrid!!" You called and ran to her
"Yes?" She asked clearly confused. You gave her an old ripped blanket and she thanked you and wrapped it around her shoulders and held it tight
"Sorry it's the best that we've found here," you said
"It's ok," she said
"Do you know where's Steve?" You asked
"He along with Nat, Clint and Bruce went to the Mountain," she said and went after Tilda. You sighed and walked to Tony
"Tony I'm going to the mountain no fighting, no making fun of anyone, no 'i'm Tony Stark this is not my job' phrase and absolutely no groups everyone is the same I don't want to come back and find that someone suddenly become the new Master here got i-"
"Woah Woah Woah hold on why are you going? And since when did I say I'm tony Stark this is not my job?" He asked and you rolled your eyes
"Steve's going there and Thorin will not let them in and you know what will happen at this time Bilbo will take the Arkenstone and a lot of problems are going to happen," you said and Loki held you by your shoulder
"I have a plan," Loki said and looked at Tony "can you leave," he said
"Why should I leave? I came here before you in fact if you want to ta-"
"Tony please just go," you said and he huffed
"Fine but when we go back you'll go back to Buttgard," Tony said and walked away
"It's Asgard," Loki said
"I don't care," Tony said. Loki sighed and shook his head and turned to you
"Anyway about my plan you need to lose Thorin's trust, you need to make him hate you make him forget all the good things you have done for him and remember only one thing and it's..." he said and you looked at him with wide eyes. He wasn't smirking so he was serious
"You want me to take the Arkenstone?" You asked and he nodded him head
"It might hurt you since you have feelings for him but, he's stubborn so we'll take that as an advantage," he said and you looked ahead at the lonely mountain
"Tell me the plan," you said
"When the battle starts we'll go to the top of the icy precipice instead of the Durin's sons and we'll fight Bolg and Azog since you heal your wounds and I'm a god it won't really be hard for us," he said
"Then why do you want me to lose Thorin's trust?" You asked
" so he won't follow you to the icy precipice because if he did, he will fight Azog instead of us and he might die" you didn't think of that, you wanted to be in the fight scene and help Thorin when he needs help. But, what if he won't trust you ever again?
"What if he won't forgive me?" You asked
" you won't stay in this world anyway," he said with a smirk and walked away. You walked closer to the center of Dale and saw the people sitting close to each other next to the fire trying to stay warm. Their clothes were ripped and they looked sick
"They deserve your help," said Loki inside your head "you came here to help them, just do it I promise you it will work"
You took one last look at them and turned around and made your way to the lonely mountain

"What do you mean you won't let us in?" Asked Clint as he stood by Erebor's gate looking up at Thorin
"You only want my gold you are nothing to me you are not my friends so you will not enter," Thorin said and turned around
"But we helped you and we didn't ask you to give us your gold we don't need it we won't stay here!!" Natasha yelled but Thorin already left.
Clint kicked the gate and sat by it, he wasn't moving anywhere not until Thorin opens the gate. And they all knew it was impossible Thorin's love for gold blinded him he won't believe them nor listen to them thinking they'll take the gold
"do you think he'll let (Y/N) in? I mean she was with him from the start so I guess he trusts her right?" Bruce asked and Steve sighed and chuckled
"I have no idea, to be honest," Steve said and Natasha stood up and dusted herself
"What are you doing?" Asked Clint
"We need Gandalf and I'm going to look for him and bring him," she said but Clint stood in front of her
"He doesn't even know you, just sit down and wait for (Y/N) to come and do something to that dwarf," he said and she glared at him
"We're wasting time by doing nothing at least I'll do something useful," she said and Steve stood up too
"He's right, you have to stay and wait with us," he said and Natasha stared at him with wide eyes
"Unbelievable and I thought you'd be the first one to join me," she said and sat away from them
You walked closer to the mountain and saw the rest of the team sitting on the ground
"Hey guys," you said as you walked towards them but stopped when Clint walked to you and pushed you towards the gate
"Go there and do something that dwarf is insane he won't let us in," he said and you looked at him with sad eyes
"He won't let you in when I come back," you said and Clint looked at you with confused eyes
"Why?" Asked Bruce
" I have a plan but it's not an easy one and if he found out what's the plan is before I finish it then I'll be executed," you said and climbed the gate leaving Clint behind
".........why didn't we climb up? God we're idiots" he said and Steve chuckled
"He trusts her so let's just hope that she'll succeed," Steve said and looked up.

You landed on your feet and walked inside and saw that Thorin was sitting on his grandfather's throne, His throne. You walked to him and he stood up
"You!" He said "I thought I told you to leave"
"I can't leave Thorin I have nowhere to go and I want to help you, I'll search for the Arkenstone with them I stayed with you and the company for so long do you think I'll actually leave that easily?" You said but he only rolled his eyes
"I will not be fooled by you," he said
" Why are you doing this Thorin? I want to help you!!!" You yelled
" and does it looks like I need your help?!!" He yelled
"I will only search for the Arkenstone and then leave I don't want anything else," you said and heard someone's footsteps behind you
"I think we should let her help us Thorin after all she knows what to do," Balin said with a hopeful look. Thorin looked at you and sat down on his throne
"Leave when you find it and don't come to talk to me," he said and you followed Balin down the stairs to where the other dwarves and bilbo were looking for the Arkenstone
"Don't be sad he treats us all the same way in fact we all like you, you helped us when we needed you and you accepted us when we didn't accept you. You know what is better for us otherwise you wouldn't have done all of this just to steal some gold that you won't even use so do what you think is right even if it is not for our benefits"
