Dance with Somebody (Michael Jackson)

Hello reader!

I'm so very excited you have decided to read my book, and I really hope you can connect with and  experience the events that take place in this novel. Obviously, this is a fan fiction about the one and only Mr. Michael Jackson, so if that is not your cup of tea, you can of course go find a book that is more your speed, or replace him in this novel with some other person you may be in love with. Whatever floats your boat!

This story takes place in the late 80s, and I know what everyone is thinking...

Another Bad era fan fiction, ooh, how freaking original!

For those of you who feel that way, I apologize. I want you to know I appreciate absolutely all stages of Michael, and I dislike it greatly when a person only favors one era specifically. I personally don't even like to think of them as eras, because Michael was always just Michael. The reason I am writing this within the late 1980s is not because of how Michael looked, acted, or was during this time. It is only because I know a lot of pop culture from this time period, and it will be very easy to base all other characters and events to this time to make this book as realistic and intriguing as possible, and I don't want to sound ignorant speaking on topics that I actually have no idea about.

This story will involve some heavy topics. Drug/substance abuse will be one of them in this story, which I have also had people I love deal with, and if that offend or upsets you at all, you are again not required to read this story. I just want to make sure everyone is absolutely comfortable and prepared with what will happen.

Overall, I intend this story to be uplifting even with its dark moments, and it is not meant to be entirely factual. There will be events or occurrences I add in for extra affect.
I don't mean to offend anyone by doing so.

Since I am a complete and total perfectionist, kind of scatter-brained, and also a student attending school at this time, updates may not be as frequent as you or I may like. I'm not trying to make excuses for my tardiness and it is irresponsible if I'm unable to keep track of this duty that I willingly took on, especially since many people writing and updating regularly are far busier than myself, but I will be putting forth a great effort to not leave you guys constantly waiting.

I do not consider myself a gifted or even a very good writer. I am sorry if my work is not up to par with your expectations. Heck, my work isn't even up to par with my expectations most of the time. I'll try my hardest to make this great and something you'll all love.

You can always feel free to contact me with comments, concerns, or questions, or maybe you just need to chat. One of my biggest pet peeves is when authors on Wattpad act as though they are on some pedestal, are distant, or flat out ignore or are rude to their readers/supporters. You guys are taking time out of your lives to read and interact with my work, so I will never be rude or not interact back. Don't ever be afraid to contact or talk to me. I appreciate you all greatly (:
