It's Saturday morning.The time is 10:40 on the clock.I placed yet another box on my bed.
"This is so exciting,isn't it?" mom smiled
"Yes" i said
"I'm so proud of you.I can't believe my little girl is at Stanford" dad said and hugged me
"Well,get used to it soon" i joked
"I wonder who will be your dorm roommate" mom said and looked around the room
"I hope she's cool" i said
"Me and your mom should probably go now" dad said and kissed the top of my head
"I'm gonna miss you so much around the house,Bianca!Be good and study hard" mom said,on the edge of crying
"Will do" i smiled and gave her a hug
"Watch out with those parties and boys,you know how crazy it can get" dad warned
"Okay dad,bye" i rolled my eyes with a smile
"Bye!Have fun!Go Stanford!" mom cheered as they walked out of the room,leaving the door open
I continued to do some things around the room and unpacking boxes.
"Hi" i heard a female voice from the doorway
I turned my head and saw a girl with blonde hair standing there with, i suppose,her parents behind her.She had 2 suitcases in her hands.
"Hello" i smiled and walked over
"I'm Bianca,i'm gonna be your roommate" i said and put out my hand in a polite way
"Hi,i'm Sophie.These are my parents Steward and Shelby" she said,pointing at the 2 older people
"Nice to meet you" i said to them
"You two,love" the lady said
"Alright mom and dad,i'll be fine now.You can go" Sophie said
"You're sure? Don't you need help with the boxes?" the lady asked
"No,i'm fine.Matt is gonna help me,bye,have a safe flight back home" she rushed
"Okay,bye sweetie.We love you" the man said and hugged her
"Love you too dad,bye" Sophie said
Once her parents left,she closed the door and sighed in relief.
"God,finally!I swear,they are so-ugh" she said
"Hahaha,yeah,i know.Mine are pretty much the same" i laughed
"I think it's parents in general.I hope i'm not gonna be like that" she said
There was a knock on the door.Sophie opened it and a tall guy with dirty blonde hair was standing there,holding up 2 boxes.
"Thanks Matt,just put them on the bed" Sophie said,motioning to the empty bed
"Welcome.So,this your roomate?" the guy asked
"Yeah,Matt-meet Bianca.Bianca,this is my older brother Matthew" Sophie said
"Cool,nice to meet you" Matt said and shook my hand
"You too" i smiled
"Okay,you can get out now" Sophie said,pushing him towards the door
"Aye,easy Freshmen" Matt said with a smirk
"Lose the attitude,meathead"Sophie rolled her eyes and closed the door once his brother was out
"Yo,you and your brother? Yeah,i can see the love" i joked
"We always fight but i do love him" she smiled
