Chapter 3

A week has passed since I talked to Steve. I was to nervous to talk to tony so I avoided him. What's wrong with with me... I guess I'm just to scared... I mean if Steve talked to tony, then why wouldn't tony just tell m he liked me?! Because he doesn't like me... It's probably true but hey... I don't need a man in my life! I've made such a good living without one! I've had a hard time sleeping these couple week... I have no clue why I just couldn't sleep. Tonight was one of those nights where I fall asleep and wake up at 3... I couldn't stop thinking about what he thought about me. Hopefully he likes me too!

An hour has passed and I just decided to get ready at 4. I showered and brushed my teeth and hair. I wore a band tee shirt with ripped jeans and a pair of (converse, heals, any shoe and pick a color). I almost always leave my hair down i think it looks nicer (or up it doesn't matter). I looked at the time it was 5... An hour until I have to be at work... I grabbed my purse with everything in it and walked to the coffee shop I usually get coffee at. When I ordered and went to sit down I saw

I looked at the booth shocked hoping he wouldn't see me I turned and tried causally side stepping out of the cafe but I heard my name being called by none other than my boss tony stark.... I turned and smiled before walking over to the booth and he gestured for me to sit down. I hesitantly sat across from him nervously
"Rogers...." Was the only thing he said before crossing his arms hoping to get an answer out of me. What should I say... Umm... I didn't have enough time to think I decided to play it cool
"Steve Rogers? What about him?" I asked taking a sip of my drink. He gave me the don't-play-dumb-with-me look and I sighed but before I could say anything he chuckled. I looked at him confused and a bit embarrassed
"Isn't it obvious that we both like each other? So... Me, you, Rogers and his little girlfriend dinner tonight?" He asked almost telling me. I couldn't help but smile a bit
"That sounds nice...I have to go or I'll be later for work..." I said trying to calm myself as I stood. He stood after me and He smiled

"Hey... What's the worst your boss could do..." He asked as we both laughed.
"Yeah... But my boss should already be at work... I hope he doesn't fire me..." I said sarcastically
"Ha... If you show up in a maids outfit I think he might reconsider..." He said playfully as i hit his shoulder acting shocked.
"Tony...." I said
"Your right... I forgot to ask for a coffee..." He said with the straightest face
"your serious?" I asked a bit scared. He nodded slightly and then I saw a small smile start to creep up onto his lips
"Why wouldn't I be...." He asked as the smile took over his lips.
"Alright got it... See you at work" I said turning and walking out of the cafe. A date? With Tony... Oh Rogers... I owe you one...
