Clap, clap, clap like you don't care

(I know you care)

The remarkable dividing between heaven and earth, so easily out of reach . The guilt of feeling angered by God's inevitable plan. How could one live without hearing that infectious laughter, seeing that beautiful smile. Letting go is the hardest part, but finding the strength in knowing that someone had an incredible life, giving you some type of closure means everything. What a wonderful man, what a wonderful life.

March 12, 2012

With a group of producers sitting in the somber studio room, they tried making out facial expressions beyond the dim interior. Beyonce' never wanted people to say it was am absurd request, but recording in the dark made her feel more at ease. An old friend made a suggestion and she picked up the habit, she missed him so much.

The first day on the job was always the hardest. A variety of ideas coming from several brilliant minds. The producers had a different plan for her, but she was adamant over recording a song she wrote herself. About someone very close to her heart. This day was difficult. She needed closure.

Beyonce' sat quietly on a backless stool inside the recording booth, her eyes couldn't see anything other than the black of the darkness. Tears fell from her eyes and rolled down her cheek, she sniffed quietly before wiping the pain away.

"Beyonce' are you ready to go again?"

She glanced up, after hearing the sound of a voice questioning through her headphones, she looked through the dark room blindly. "Yes, just run back the second verse..." she whispered apprehensively.

Aggravated by the uncontrollable tremble of her bottom lip, she bit down hard before producing the best take she could. "We laughed at the darkness. So scared that we lost it, we stood on the ceilings.
You showed me love was all you needed. Heaven couldn't wait for you, no heaven c-"

The producers tensed after hearing a very audible gasp on playback. One of the producers happened to be Pharell Williams. He knew exactly what her private pain entailed, but he was tired of the discrete dramatics, people needed to know why. Finally flipping the lights on in the studio, he walked over to turn the light switch on the studio booth but she beat him at the door.
