Voices? I heard voices! I thought hurriedly grabing my hatchets and my blood covered hoodie off the floorboards. This isn't good! Who would be all the way out here? I thought opening the side window of the shed and climbed out with my things. I fell onto the ground with a slight thud, not loud enough for them to hear with a small amount of dust swarming around my body and my ticking going out of control. I looked through the open window. One of the voices belonged to a man with a tan jacket and a white mask with black feminine features. The other voice belonged to another man but he had a orange hoodie tied around his waist and a black ski mask in one of his hands. He had his back turned to me so I couldn't see his face. The masked man found one of the chairs and sat down, opening a folder he had in his hands. The other man looked very annoyed with the masked man for some reason.

I watched them for another hour and it seems they aren't leaving without someone. I sighed and finally stopped watching the window. My home was compromised. Puting one of my hatchets in my belt I held the other one just in case. I walked over to a tree and stared up at it sleepily twitching slightly. I clumsily threw my hatchet into the tree and stepped on it to climb up onto a branch. I grabbed the hatchet again and repeated this process until I was high enough to not be seen by passing animals or possibly people.

I sat on that branch for about two hours, watching the stars, until I drifted into a dark sleep with images of the past replaying as dreams.

The next day I decided to go into town with the little money I stole from one of my victims to buy food because obviously, the stuff I had hidden has been compromised. I left my hoodie, hatchets, belt and gloves, mask and goggles there because they were covered in dried blood. I brushed my fingers through my oily hair and pulled my turtleneck up to my nose and brushed my hair over my eyes and began my long walk to town.

After two hours of walking and humming I finally reached the road. I looked down at my jeans and shoes and realized they were obviously bloody. I grumbled and continued walking with my head down until I walked passed a large park with a lake. I decided to wash my jeans and shoes off a bit before going into a heavily populated area. After the blood was mostly washed off, I looked over to where voices and sirens were coming from. It was a crime scene a few yards away. From what I could hear, a little girl was raped and killed last night. What a shame. I decided to walk out of the park with my damp jeans and shoes before the police questioned me and found out who I was.

After a little bit of walking I made it into town. Cars blurred by, splashing a little water onto my black turtleneck and damp jeans. I growled at the driver even though he was long gone. I walked along the sidewalk with people rushing past not minding me, the strange teenager with damp clothes and messy hair. I walked further and finally reached the neighborhood Publix and went in. I walked into the canned food isle and started looking at disgusting canned food and sales I could get on them. As I was reaching for a can of spinach that was way out of my short reach, a man walked up behind me and asked in an oddly familiar voice, "Do you need help?" I sighed and stopped reaching. "Y-Yea..." I responded quietly, mentally smacking myself for stuttering. I moved out of the way and he grabbed the can with no problem. He turned to me. "Here ya go." He said and smiled. He had brown messy hair with sideburns and bushy eyebrows, he also had blue eyes and a slightly large nose. He was about 6'5, towering over my 5'4 height, and wasn't skinny but wasn't chubby either, he was the healthy middle. I took the can from him and he smiled to me. "Do you need help with anything else?" He asked and I nodded and pointed to a random can out of my reach that I honestly didn't really want. I just wanted to see him reach for it with those strong arms and oh god Toby what are you saying?! I shook my head and cracked my neck. The man looked at me confused, but disregarded it and got the can for me. "Here." He said handing it to me. I kept my mouth and eyes still hidden from him, but smiled anyways. "Oh by the way, I'm Tim." He said still smiling. "If you need for me to reach for anything, don't be afraid to ask!" He added. Just before he was about to walk away another man a little taller than Tim walked up behind him. "Let's go Tim, I don't want to be here any longer than we have to." He said, with another voice I recognize. "Okay fine," he said as the other guy stormed away annoyed. "Sorry kid, I've gotta go before Brian gets more mad than he already is." He said and chuckled softly. "Welp. C'ya around!" He waved to me and walked off. After he was gone I instantly wanted to talk to him again, but I knew that my childishness was getting the best of me. I walked up to the register and bought everything and walked out of the store seeing Tim and Brian walking out of the parking lot. I shrugged it off and continued walking till I saw them stop at some medical center. Tim walked inside while Brian stood there holding a few bags and slouching on the wall. I walked passed and stopped to take a rest at the park. I sat on a rock outside of it and just started to think. I thought about Tim, how kind and handsome he was. Realizing my silly thoughts I chuckled softly to myself. My heart rate was going noticeably faster than normal and I started to sweat, being numb to the temperature I didn't understand exactly why I was sweating but shrugged it off anyways. I looked over at the medical center and saw Tim walking out and away from it, with Brian close behind. I watched them pass from across the street with a smile across my covered face.

It seemed as if I was just acting like a teenager, falling in love with everyone...
