"Mhmm it smell's so good in here"
"Yeah that's because your mate is here in this room" said my wolf
So I decided to sit beside the girl where the smell was coming from
Gasps
"What's wrong" I asked the class and they looked at me like I'm stupid
"You can't sit buy her" some random person responded
"why not" I asked, they all look so shocked, whats so special about this girl.
"she doesn't like anyone sitting by her"
So I decide to look at her and froze MATE, MINE, MATE and I subconsciously started thinking about our future.
"Can you move please" said the most beautiful voice I've ever heard
"Yeah why not" I said in a daze
After a lot of staring at my mate I noticed her sense of authority hanging over her. She left the room without even a glance at me doesn't she feel the mate link? For females it's instant
So I went through three more classes in the same dream like stage thinking about my mate
"Everybody remember the whole pack has to attend the meeting with the Gaia pack"
"Yes alpha" we all answered
"Truman you hear that " I said
"Whatever dude lets go to lunch room" he answers
*lunch time*
"Come on, lets go find somewhere to sit" Truman said walking in to the lunch room with me in tow
I smelt my mate from a distance,the most beautiful creature on this earth, so I hurriedly grabbed some food and took off to find her I came to two rows of seats in the middle of the walkway of the cafeteria and you could see the longing in the humans eyes like it was the it table
The table had the seats on either sides of each other and one head seat, like at a thanks giving dinner and there's one host. The weirder thing about that is that it's all werewolves and the mates of some of the werewolves and the seats are organized from high rank to low rank
So the whole middle row was rsvp'd. I see my mate sitting at the head of the table and there's a empty seat at the table right beside her so I sat and she didn't even look at me then all of a sudden everyone at the table went quiet and everyone's looking at me so the girl who told me not to sit by mate in first period says to me
"Who are you and why are you sitting at our table"
"I'm Jake moon of the moon pack; who are you? I questioned her
"I am Minnie the soon to be beta of the Gaia pack and the alpha's best friend and cousin" she said with a lot of pride
"Ok" she's still looking at me "what" I asked
"You didn't answer my questioned why are you sitting at our table" she asked looking at me like I'm stupid for the second time
"Well I wanted to sit by my mate" I said smiling
"Congratulations john I knew you were gay but I just wasn't sure" said Minnie to the guy sitting by me.
"What no; hell no I'm not gay he's not my mate" he said looking horrified while everyone else started laughing
"No not him her" I said looking at my mate with pride.
Everyone gasped then started looking at me with pity in their eyes. Why are they looking at me with pity in their eyes?
"Why are you guys looking at me like that?
"Like what" they answered
"With pity you guys should be happy for your friend she found her mate" I said happily she still hasn't looked at me now she's on a phone
"She doesn't want a mate" said Minnie after she said that I got angry
"Why are you speaking for my mate she has a mouth" I growled
"DON'T YOU DARE speak to my best friend like that" said my mate so calm that it scared me because that was also a threat she said that warningly without even a seconds glance at me.
"What's your name" I asked
"That is of no importance to you" she said still not looking or paying any attention to me
"Well yes it is you are my mate your business is my business" I growled at her biggest mistake I have ever made
"I may be your mate but I do not want nor need a mate so you can get that mate theory out of your head"
"AND IF YOU EVER SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT AGAIN YOU WILL REGRET IT MOST DEARLY" she said dangerously and I was scared mindless.
"Mates can't deny each other" I said matter of factly, got up and walked away
*BRING*
The lunch bell rang for us to leave and go tour last 3 classes
After school I was about to step into my father's car when I saw her get on her bike
"Dad that's my mate" I said to him pointing at her she turned and looked at us then put her helmet on and drove off
"congrats son" my dad said proudly
"no dad, she doesn't want me"
"Well we'll see about that when we talk to her alpha tonight, then she has to accept you".
