----Thanisha's POV---

"Here you go," I said.

"Thank you so much,"Shehry said.

"Shehry, friendship mai no sorry & no thanks," I said.

"Come on yaar. Jaan bachali," he said.

I wished he would be calling me jaan since he paused for a fraction of a second.

"Anyways, class kha time ho gaya," I said and we left.

After the boring lecture ended I was free for the day.

I was going to our usual hangout when someone pulled me back.

"Shehry, what the heck?" I asked.

"Sorry, but you weren't listening," he said.

Oh, I thought to myself.

"Wanna go out for lunch?" He asked.

That suprised me.

"Your girlfriend," I said.

"She won't mind. Please, my treat," I said.

"Sher.." I was saying but he interrupted me.

"Please nah maath karna," he said.

"Okay," I said and we left.

We had so much fun on the trip there. It was as if nothing had changed between us.

We got to the restaurant and placed our orders.

We were sitting and chatting when an elderly lady looked at us and the to her husband.

"Look at them! Such a cute couple,"she said.

She turned to her husband,"remember when we were that young and in love."

"Why aren't you in love now?" I asked.

"You know what she means,"Shehry said.

"By the way ma'am sorry to disappoint you, but we aren't a couple,"Shehry said.

That broke my heart. I knew it was true, but I didn't like that hearing it.

"I have a girlfriend who I love more than anything. Us two our just friends," he said.

That part killed me.

I quickly had some water.

"That's too bad. You two would've made cute kids,"she said.

I started choking on my drink.

"I'm sorry about my wife. She can be handful sometimes," her husband said and took her out.

Our food arrived and wait in silence.

"Shehry, can you drop me at home please," I said.

"Your not going to finish the rest of the day?" He asked.

"No. I just don't feel well," I said.

"Tannu, is it because of what they said?" He asked.

He hadn't called me that since forever.

"Nahi Shehry,"I said.

"Then was it something I said?" He asked.

"No. I really don't feel good. I think I ate something bad,"I said.

"You sure?" He asked.

"I'll throw up in your car if I have to in order to prove a point," I said.

"Okay, your house it is,"he said.
