We were at the dance, and I still hadn't let go of Lucas's hand. I was scared him and Josh would get into a fight. A slow song came on, and me and Lucas were dancing towards the middle of the dance floor. Then he spun me, and while I was turning, I saw Josh staring at us with a face that scared me half to death. I stopped.
"What's wrong Maya?"
"Lucas. I just saw Josh."
"Where?"
I pointed to where he was, but he was gone. I didn't know where he went. Then some guy walked up to us and started talking to Lucas. He talked back, but kept looking back at me. When Lucas turned back around to tell him it wasn't a good time, I felt someone cover my mouth and I fell asleep.
