“And then you’ll have no one to help you.”

“Maya also told me you have an aunt.”

“Oh, please go to Angelina!” I said, as if they would even get close to her.

“You realize that if we go to Angelina that we won't need you and we will kill you.”

“So, I’m dead no matter what.”

“Not if you work for me.”

            “I’m dead no matter what.”

“Why the hell are you so stubborn?!” He punched the wall next to my head.

“Because you're a werewolf and I'm not going to help you kill my friends!

“If they are your friends, why haven't they found you yet? We have had no vampire sightings anywhere around here. They aren’t looking for you Lana, they don't care about you.”

“That’s a lie, Cain is looking right now.”

“No, he's not. He has a war to lead, why would he be looking for one vampire? They all have more important things to worry about.”

            I head butted him.

“Dammit Lana!” He held his head as he stumbled back.

“I am never going to help you!”

“I'll see about that, I give you four days without blood.” He left me alone at that.

I blinked, trying to stay awake. I was not going to fall under the influence of the wolves. I yanked against my restraints but nothing happened. What did they have me tied up with that I couldn’t rip apart? Well, they did have to restrain werewolves so they had to be strong.

                                    Day One

I’m still fine and I refused to sleep because I knew that I might not wake up. I still had enough blood in me that I wasn’t lightheaded, which is a good thing because I did not want to go crazy again.

I looked over, I saw the bed that was used for their prisoners, and I suddenly wanted to cuddle up with it.

No! I had to stay coherent.

                                    Day Two

I wonder if the wolves every do it as a wolf.

“How are you doing?” Grayson asked, looking at me.

“Do you ever do it as a wolf?” I asked. He cracked up laughing.

            “I see it’s working.”

            “What, it’s a legit question.”

“You are going to give in?”

“No, but I would love to cuddle up on that bed. It looks so soft and comfortable. Have you ever gone to sleep on it, is it comfortable?”

He simply shook his head and walked away.

                                    Day Four

“Let me out! I swear I am going to kill every fucking one of you mutts if you don't let me go!” I yanked against the restraints again. I slammed my feet against the ground causing it to crumble. “Let me go!”

                                    Day Six

No body is coming for me, if they were going to they would already be here and I would not be lacking blood. I could feel death creeping up on me.

Was I really going to die here, alone with the wolves? Or was I going to work for them?

“So, what have you decided?” Grayson asked, looking at me.

What have I decided? Then, I realized I had no choice.
