Reader's POV:
Marco, Jackie and Tom were all swimming at the beach having fun while Star built a sand castle alone, for some reason Star would never get into the water no matter what and nobody knew why. Most of the time she just built her sand castles or she would just walk around the beach while they were swimming.
Star's POV:
"Here I am building a damn sand castle alone as always, sometimes I wish they wouldn't always abandon me" I mumble to myself while looking at them having fun in the water. I continue to build my castle but I get interrupted by Marco.
"Hey Star, Why don't you come in the water? It's not that cold" He said trying to convince me to get in.
"N-No I'm fine, I wanna build my castle, maybe I'll make it bigger than the last time I built one" I said as I continued to build the castle.
"Star you haven't gotten in the water all summer, I don't think I've seen you swimming ever." He said looking at me.
"Marco I don't want to get in, now if you don't mind I'm building my castle." I said while seeing Tom and Jackie running up to Marco and I.
Tom looked at me and smiled
"So my princess doesn't want to get in the cold water hmm?" He said smirking."
"No I don't, I'm fine building my castle" I said with anger, I'm tired of them nagging me to get in the water.
All the sudden I feel somebody pick me up bridal style, I look to see it was Tom. He was trying to throw me into the water!
"I'm gonna throw you in on the count of three" Tom said as he was getting ready to throw me.
"TOM PUT ME DOWN NOW!! PLEASE!! STOP!!" I screamed frightened of the water below me.
"One.....two...." He said counting down.
"TOM STOP!! STOP PUT ME DOWN!!" I screamed louder for him to listen but he wasn't listening, at the point I was crying.
Finally he listened to me and put me down.
"Star, what's your problem? Why are you scared" He said as he looked at everyone looking at me laughing.
"I've never been so humiliated in my hole life.." I said as I looked around at everyone. Tears came streaming down my face as I started to cry more than I was before, I ran to grab my stuff then I started to run home.
Marco's POV:
I see Star crying as she's running away and I look at Tom in anger.
"Tom what's YOUR problem? She's probably just scared of the water you didn't have to force her to get in!" I said full of anger.
"She needs to get rid of her stupid fears Marco, it's the only way she'll actually fit in and have fun." He said as he looked at her walk away.
I just want to take Tom and drown him in the water that's not how you treat a girl you don't force her to do what you please.
"You know what Tom, she's not your little slave you do whatever to, she's a sensitive, and delicate person she gets hurt easily." I said looking at him in anger.
"Listen you don't tell me what I can and can't do with MY girlfriend and-"
"She's MY best friend I protect her no matter what" I said interrupting him.
"You know what, I'm leaving" I said packing my stuff up to leave. I kiss Jackie before I leave. I said goodbye to Tom and Jackie then I ran to catch up to Star, where ever she was.
