Prologue

-Forest  in the mountains-Two days after the mishap-
Two figures leaned against a tree as they slept.
Eventually, though, the red haired female opened her violet orbs as she gazed around, before her eyes landed on the bandages that were wrapped around the leg of her faithful guardian.
"I'm fine." the sudden voice startled the female as she quickly looked up to see that the male who had been sleeping beside her was actually awake.
He smirked. "A little snake bite isn't going to stop General Hak." he stated, grunting a bit as he stood up.
The red haired female quickly stood up as well. "Um, Hak?" she questioned.
"Hai?" the male looked at her expectantly.
"Couldn't we head down into some village for food and medicine?" She asked.
"Villages are dangerous." the male quickly disagreed. "Even if the villagers don't recognize us, castle soldiers could be anywhere." He explained.
"Then, where are we heading now?" the female earnestly asked.
The male frowned and looked away from the young princess. "Probably the only place we can count on now." he paused. "Capital Fuuga, my hometown." he said as the two now looked at a clearing that showed an elaborate amount of steps.

--Meanwhile--
"Did you get the quilts?"
"Check."
"The beaded jewelry? The furs?"
"Check and check."
"The food supply?"
"Uh..."
"Akio!" a (H/C) shouted as she hit the slightly older male with her clipboard, silver orbs narrowing as she stared at the silver haired male who laughed as he awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck and closed his own (E/C) eyes.
"Gomensai, Y/N, I'll go get it now, wait up for me!" the male laughed as he quickly slipped between the two boulders that kept the secret clan from prying eyes.
The (H/C) female sighed and shook her head as she watched her twin brother. "How clueless." she grumbled, before glancing up at the sky through the canopy of trees.
Something interesting is going to happen, I just know it. She thought, grabbing ahold of the pendant that hung around her neck.
