All Fires Start With A Spark

Start from the beginning

"Okay, if you're sure." After that, neither of us said a word. Dillon turned up his radio, which was on some old school music station. I roll my eyes and mess with it until I find a country station that he doesn't seem to hate and I know I can handle listening to.

It took about thirty minutes to get to Callie's. As he pulled up, I prepared to make a quick escape and avoid any conversation. Unfortunately, his doors locked automatically when we started driving, which I forgot about. I went to get out, muttering a quick thanks, and almost sprained my wrist trying to open the locked door.

"Not so fast," Dillon laughs, turning off his truck. Great. When the engine gets cut, it means I'm stuck here for quite a bit.

"What? Do you want me to admit that you're right and you do live in the middle of nowhere and I never would have found my way here?" I hiss.

"No, but that's great to hear. Blaire, we can't just ignore this," he hisses.

"Ignore what?" I reply innocently.

"Blaire."

"Don't worry Dillon. If I'm late I'll go talk to a doctor. If I'm not then, well, I guess it's nothing to worry about," I say simply, trying to figure out how to unlock the door.

"Okay, well how do you plan on ignoring this," he asks, leaning over and lightly kissing my neck. I shiver at the feeling. No, I can't let him just take control like this.

"Dillon," I say flatly, trying to keep all emotion out of my voice.

"Give me a chance," he murmurs. He lightly nibbles on my ear and I finally give in, turn around, and kiss him. No matter how much I want to ignore him and find a 'good guy,' I can't. I guess I have an addiction to playing with fire.

As soon as he tries to deepen the kiss, I pull away. "No," is all I say.

"What? Why?" he asks, clearly confused.

"Not until I know what we are."

"Explain?"

"I don't know how! I need to be able to...label us. Like, are we dating? Or friends with benefits or what?"

"Whatever you want," Dillon murmurs as he leans in to kiss me.

"Dillon!" I push him away, frustrated.

"Do you want a relationship with the town's biggest bad boy?" he questions, with his sexy little half smile on his face.

"I don't know," I reply honestly.

He kisses me again before asking, "do you know now?"

"Um," is all I get out before he kisses me again.

"Now?"

"Dill..." and yet again he cuts me off with a kiss.

"How about ..." he starts to say before I decide to fight back and cut him off.

I give him a quick kiss, murmur, "yeah, I do," reach across him, unlock my door, and run out before he gets the chance to regain his composure.

"Hey," Callie growls as she opens her door about a minute later. Dillon left when I got up to her door, so I didn't have to worry about her seeing him before I tell her what I learned about last night.

"Well hello to you too," I say as I follow her to her room.

"How are you not hungover?" she questions grumpily.

"I was when I woke up. Well, actually, I was still slightly drunk. It just kind of faded after a while," I tell her. "Do you remember anything that went down last night?"

"Nope. The only thing I remember is talking to Lorenzo about the detention fight," she groans, falling back on to her bed while clutching her head.

"Same. But this morning I woke up in a bed with David Hoffman," I look at her for a reaction, only to find her holding her hands over her face.

"Normally, I would be screaming, but this headache is just now starting to go away and there is no way I'm going to bring it back by doing that. What were you doing with Dill's little brother?" she asks.

"That's what I asked when I woke up. Apparently, after the party, I went home with Dillon and ended up, well, you know, doing it with him and then, once he fell asleep, I went and told David my life story before passing out on his bed with him," I explain.

"You slept with Dillon? You and Lacie are a lot more alike than I thought," was her only response.

"Yeah, so I've heard. Callie, the thing is, I might be pregnant," I find myself whispering for no apparent reason.

"You better hope you aren't, Blaire. Dillon is like, the biggest flake ever. If you end up having his child, I'm ninety percent sure he's going to skip town and leave you as a single mother," Callie warns.

"He better not. Especially not after..." I trail off, not sure if I want to tell Callie about our relationship or not.

"After what?" Callie asks, finally sitting up.

"Nothing," I try, silently yelling at myself for letting that much out.

"Blaire, tell me now, or we won't get food until you spill," she threatens. As if on cue, my stomach growls.

"Fine. Callie, I'm dating him now."

A/N: I updated a lot sooner than I thought I would! Yay! So, I decided that my new story is going to be called Behind The Screens and it's going to be written  in a very different way. I haven't decided yet exactly how I'm going to write it, but I think I should be posting the first chapter around the time when I update this again. I would love it if you guys check it out! But, back to PWF, I really hope you guys are liking it. The drama is just starting, don't worry. This definitely won't be the only huge twist in the story. If you like it, please vote! Comment any thoughts you have and, if you guys could, I would really appreciate it if you share it! Thanks so much for the support! ~Lee
