I played with my new bracelet, spinning it around my wrist. My blonde hair blew in the wind as I waited for the yellow school bus to come around the corner and onto my street. Glancing down at my outfit one more time, I thought of all the comments people will make about it. Ugh, are you kidding me? Those shoes look like they just came out of the swamp. They had mud stains on the sides, hiding the natural turquoise they were supposed to be. Who does she think she is wearing that torn up dress. And her legs are so gross, I can't even look at them without wanting to puke. Yes, my dress was torn. Not because I don't care about it but because I went adventuring with it. I agree about my legs, they are really weird. I'm knock-kneed for starters, and they also have all kinds of bruises and scars on them from my childhood.

Before I could tear my confidence up anymore, I heard a sound that stopped my heart. The bus. I looked up for a brief second and saw it speeding down Coastal Street. My street. As a defense mechanism, my head immediately pointed down as I clutched the books in my arms harder. The sound of the doors opening meant that I had to get on, no escaping. As I walked up the steps I heard the bus go silent, everyone staring at me. I did not look up. I did not smile or look at anyone. Almost tripping, I made it safely to the back of the bus where no one else was. I rest my head on the seat, closing my eyes for a brief moment.

I made it. I am on the bus and on my way to a new school in a new town. I tried reassuring myself that it will be ok, but then I heard footsteps coming my way. I opened my eyes and put my head down. Please don't talk to me or sit next to me. I just want to be alone. I heard someone plop down in a seat in front of me and I let out a sigh that was hurting my chest. One more person got on, and then the school was in view. As soon as I laid eyes on it I wanted to cry. It's huge. It can fit a fucking football stadium in it! Well, I might be exaggerating a little bit, but I swear it's gigantic.

The bus came to an abrupt stop, opening its doors to signal that we've arrived at hell. As soon as I stepped off my mind was screaming to run. Just run and never look back. I didn't listen. Instead, I walked deeper into the wild, everything unknown. Maybe if I click my heels I'll appear back at my old house.

I shyly walked into what looked like the office and sat down. After what seemed like 10 years, they acknowledged me and gave me my schedule. My first class is room 305. Honors Biology. How fun.

Okay don't judge, but this is how I felt when I moved. This story is gonna be a realistic fiction thing. Idk. Hope you like it!
