Monster Allergy Love Story

Elena POV
It's been a months now that I could start seeing monsters it was so awesome. I'm glad that I could finally be useful to Zick. Honestly I always felt like I been holding him back, having him always protecting me. I just wish I could be a tamer like him then I'll be more useful to him.
I looked at the time and notice it was almost time for school. I quickly got dressed and ran out the door. "Hurry up Elena we only got ten minutes until the bell rings!"yelled Zick. "Okay!" I yelled back as we started running. I notice I was falling behind Zick he was going to fast, I couldn't catch up.
He then looked back and saw me, "Here Elena let me help you."he grabbed my hand and we started running again. I could hear my heart beat fast not because I was running but because Zick. Must be obvious but I got a crush on him, it's just I don't think he would like someone who always holds him back.
Just then we made it pass the door on time before the school bell ring. As we sat down in our seats. The teacher came in, and behind her was a girl with long blonde hair and she was wearing a sundress. I couldn't believe my eyes it was Amy, she's the reason why I moved from my last school. Also it wasn't hard to notice every guy was looking at her even Zick.
"Class this is our new student Amy Fox, Amy introduced yourself."she said. "Hi everyone I'm Amy I hope we can all be friends."she said, then I notice she was looking over at my way. But not me she was looking at a Zick which got me worried. "Elena did you see that she looked over at me, do you think we might be friends?"he said. "Sure why not." I said in a worried voice but Zick didn't notice. Then if my luck wasn't bad enough she had her seat right in front of Zick's.

Zick POV
Man the new girl was so pretty, I was sure she looked my way when she smiled. And before I knew it my luck was good today cause she sits right in front of me.
She turned around and smiled, "Hi I'm Amy what's your name?"she asked. "I'm Zick, and this next to me is my best friend Elena."I said. "Hi Amy...."said Elena. "Well nice to meet you Zick and nice to see you again Elena. I hope we could be friends."she said. Man I was so lucky I wish this day wouldn't end, I turned over to Elena and notice something must be wrong cause she looked sick.

(Time skips: End of School)

Elena POV
As it was time to go home before I left the class with Zick,Amy called me over. "Zick is it okay if I can speak with Elena I want to catch up with her."she said. "Sure, Elena I'll wait for you outside."he said.
"Well if it isn't Elena Potato never thought you'll see me again huh. Must be nice seeing you finally made a friend here unlike your old school."she said. "Yeah so what do you want Amy!" I said, that's when she grabbed me by the hair and yank it really hard. "How dare you speak me to me that way. And what I want is to make your life miserable like old times. And I think I'll be starting with that eye candy of yours Zick. Don't worry I'll take good care of him knowing he's a monster tamer like me. He doesn't need no monster keeper by his side"she said. She then let go of my hair and push me to the floor.
"Wait your a monster tamer? But how did you know Zick and I?" I asked. "The last monster tamer meeting I couldn't go I was sick for a whole month. But my mother kept telling me about Zick and you a great team. But now that I'm healthy again I believe me and Zick will be a greatest team there ever was."she said as she walk out of the classroom. "I mean a monster keeper is just a regular human who can just see monsters they're still week. I'll see you later at our other school" she laughed.
I looked down at my hands and notice I was crying. I couldn't stand up against her as always I felt so powerless. But she was right with her and Zick together they'll be a better team.

Zick POV
Man Elena was taking forever I wonder if something must have happened. I was about to go check on her until I saw Amy, "Hey Zick, Elena said she wasn't feeling good. So she went to see the nurse before she left."she said.
"Really I should go and check on her in case she needs someone to walk her home." I said, then Amy grabbed my hand. "Wait she already called her dad so don't worry plus she told me you know where the Monster Tamer classes is at. I heard from my mom that you and her are the best team there is."she said.
"Wait your a monster tamer too, wow that's really awesome! And sure I know a short cut let me take you." I said. As me and Amy started walking man I'm so lucky today.

Elena POV
As I got up and went to go see Zick, I saw Amy already beat me to him. They were walking away holding hands. My heart ache it felt like it shattered into a million pieces. There's no way I could ever beat Amy, my tears started falling once again. I couldn't help it I started running, and running home until I bump into someone making me fall.
"Hey are you okay... Huh Elena what are you doing here aren't you going to class with Zick?" I look up and saw it was Zick's dad. "Wait why are you crying? He asked. I quickly wipe away my tears,got up, and smiled, "Your eyes might be tricking you I wasn't crying. And I'm not coming today, tomorrow, maybe not for the next month." I said looking down at my feet.
"Why's that? Did Zick and you get into another fight, just apologized and get it over with it."he said. Man I couldn't help it I can't hide these tears. "No it wasn't a fight, I'm just weak, I'll just get in his way I'm useless. Even if I can see monsters in the end Zick does all the work. I hold him back because he protects me, and in the end I just hand him empty jars." I cried. He just looked at me, "That's not true and you know it Elena your Zick's best friend. Before you he was always alone and pick on."he said. "It won't matter after today,I won't be needed anymore." I said.
"That's a lie if it wasn't for you Zick would've been still lock in magnecat prison! If it wasn't for you Zick would never gotten turned back into a human and still be a monster! Elena you saved Zick at times when none of us other tamers could."he said. I stop crying and Zick's dad started patting my head.
"Here let me take you to class and make up an excuse for you, so that old cat don't get mad."he said. I nodded and gave him a smile, I'm glad ran into him.

(Just arrived at Tamer Mountain)

Zick POV
Class already start 30 minutes ago and it kinda felt weird since Elena wasn't here. Amy wanted me to show her around but seems all the other guys wanted to as well. In the end she still choose me, before I was going to show her around. Bombolo was running and bump into Amy, "Well isn't he cute, what's his name?"she asked.
"Elena named him Bombolo ."I said, "Bombolo that's a stupid name."she said as she pick him up, then Bombolo to cry. Making Amy drop him to the floor making him crying even more. I quickly pick him up and tried to calm him down but it didn't work. Then out of nowhere a boy with black hair with white highlights, dress in black shirt with a skull and black pants. Came and took him out of my hands before I knew it Bombolo calm down. "Wow I never seen no one else but me stop making him cry."said Elena as she stand next to my dad. She then started running towards him passing me without saying hi. "Well I'm a monster keeper it's kinda my thing, but if he stops crying when you hold him that must mean he likes you. Nice to meet you I'm Mason Minter"he said. They both started talking like they were in there own little world. I didn't know why but for some reason I got really mad. "Well thank you Mason but I could've calm Bombolo down too you know." I said as I took Bombolo away from him. Which made Bombolo start crying again.
"Zick you made Bombolo cry again!"shouted Elena taking him away from me. "Well Elena now that you met Mason I'm happy to say you two will be going work more together."said Brown cat. "Wait what Elena is my partner she always comes on missions with me." I said.
"Since when aren't you always telling me to stay back or to not go cause it'll be dangerous."said Elena. "True but...." I didn't know what to say, cause what she said was true. That's when I saw Mason put his hand on Elena shoulder. Man that guy sure knew how to get me mad.

Elena POV
I was surprised to find that there's another Monster Keeper like me here. Well other then Zick's mom, but now that there's someone else and close to my age I guess it isn't that bad.
Just then Mason put his hand on my shoulder he was looking at Bombolo as he took his nap. "Were you the one that gave him the name Bombolo?"he asked. "Yup I sure did.", "It's a really cute name it fits him perfectly."he said smiling at me.
I don't know why but my face was totally blushing. That's when I felt a sharp pain in my back, I didn't know what it was but everything started getting hazy before I knew it I felt my body falling.

Zick POV
Suddenly Elena fainted and feel into Mason arms. He picked her up bridal style, that's when I really got piss. "Here let me take her I'm her best friend!" I yelled. "Dude stop being jealous already her body temperature is getting hotter where's the nurses office!"he yelled. "Mm...me...Jealous!!" I yelled, "Zick stop, stopping him, here come follow me Mason it's this way!"said my dad as they ran to the nurse.
I was about to run after them until Amy grabbed my hand. "Zick don't go she'll be alright."she said. I yanked my hand away from here grasp. And went running to the infirmary. That's where I saw Elena as she open her eyes and was looking at Mason. And they started talking but after a few minutes she started crying. Mason hugged her, I don't know why but I couldn't just stand and watch.
