Grace

My alarm clock went off signaling I should stand up from bed because it's school time. Yay. I grabbed my uniform and changed. Since I had the cuts in my wrist I also grabbed the schools Sweater and put it on doing the bottons that were at the front. I decide to let my normal straight brown hair down and just put on a black headband with a bow on. I made my way downstairs and ate a cereal really quick. When I was done eating I brushed my teeth and started walking to school.

After a good 20 minute walk of looking down and thinking of nothing important I finally arrived to the place I enjoy to be, I'm probably the only kid who thinks this way.

I entered and like always went to my locker where my friends —for some weird reason— were waiting me. I'm usually the one that has to look for them, that's why it's weird they're waiting for me, i slowed my pace questioning myself about the possible reasons, but nothing came in my mind.

"Hey girls" I said opening the locker and putting my stuff in before grabbing the books I need for my first class which is Literature.

"First of all we messaged you all day yesterday and you never answered, why?" Emma-Kate asked worried and curious at the same time. She goes straight to the point. The other girls had the same expression as Emma-Kate in their face.

"I lost my phone and didn't found it. It was under the couch" I said, laughing trying to make them believe my lie. It's not that I'm going to tell them 'oh my mum was cutting my wrists I'm sorry' that would be so true but wrong.

"Oh okay" Emma-Kate said chuckling.

"Can I know the reason of your emergency for finding me?" I asked closing the door of my locker.

"People are talking about you talking with Chris Lanzon..." Said Caitlyn jumping up and down as well as all the girls.

"Calm yourselves down! He just opened my water bottle because I couldn't!" I laughed at their enthusiasm.

"Who knows maybe you both end up together" Megan said pushing me in a joke.

"We also heard something about him protecting you?" Said Georgia wiggling her eyebrows. Oh lord my friends are crazy.

"They were throwing a pencil case and Jakob accidentally threw it and it was about to hit me in the face but he stopped it that's it"

"Jakob?! As in Jakob Delgado?!" Emma-Kate exclaimed as if Jakob was some kind of celebrity. Well somehow he is.

"Yes, Jakob Delgado. Girls calm your hormones down! It's not that big of a thing. I'm pretty sure he would've done that for anyone" I exclaimed to the girls and they laughed.

"I don't know them, but I ship you both" Caitlyn said and I rolled my eyes.

"That's so impossible. The day you stop making guys drool, Megan stops being so sensitive, Emma stops being a fangirl over 5SOS, and Georgia stops making girls jealous is the day something will happen between him and me. Those days will never come." I said stating the obvious.

"Don't be so negative Grace. You're so beautiful it's not a surprise you caught his eye" Megan talked rubbing my back.

"Yeah. You're an amazing girl in both personality and looks." Caitlyn said giving me a side hug.

"So don't talk of yourself like that" Emma-Kate gave me a smile.

"Because that's a lie" Georgia ended up running a hand through her dirty blonde hair.

The bell rang interrupting our cheesy best friend moment.

"See you in Lunch, Grace" Caitlyn waved and I did as well to all of them and afterwards started making my way to Literature class and sitting in my normal seat.
