-Italy's POV-
Today we're having a party at my house, and all the countries (specially my allies) are invited. Big Brother France thought it would be a good idea to have a "beginning of summer" party at my place since I'm rarely a host and own a lovely summer house in front of the Mediterranean.
For the preparations I had to make more pasta than usual (though it doesn't matter since I love to cook) with the help of my fratello, and Spain, who brought a lot of tomatoes for the occasion. I also had to buy wine, beer, and champagne, with plenty of snacks.

Ding Dong. "Coming!" I yelled from the kitchen. 'That must be Germany.' I thought. He told me he knew how bothersome setting up a party was, so he kindly offered to help.
I raced through the kitchen, past the living room, and towards my white front door, which had two thin, blurred windows to give more privacy from the outside.
I quickly opened it to a gentle breeze, and saw Germany standing there with what I knew was smile that made my heart skip a beat or two.
"Hallo Italy, may I come in?"
"Ciao Ludwig, of course! Thanks for helping me by the way."
"Don't worry about it."
Stepping aside to let him in, I gladly took the container filled with wurst that he handed me and carried it to the fridge. But before I could open the doors, I heard Romano yell from the couch he was lounging at.
"Why did you invite the potato loving bastard here!?" He exclaimed with a scowl on his face.
"Nice to see you too, Romano." The German answered with a sigh.
"Damnit! I can't be with my fratello without having this bastard here!"
I was going to happily remimd him that the two of them rarely see each other, when Spain came out of the kitchen with his usual smile and said, "Calm down, Lovi. Here, help me with the food."
Me and Germany gave him a thankful look as the two of them dissapeared into the kitchen, then I turned around with my usual smile, and told Germany that he could help with making sure that there isn't anything that can be easily broken at sight (since there were going to be drunk nations everywhere).
He nodded dutifully and went upstairs, so I went to the kitchen a bit nervous about what Roma would say. When I entered, him and Spain turned around to look at who had entered, then Romano approached me with a frown.
"What is he doing here?" He asked while folding his arms over his chest.
"He's just here to help us with the party preparations. Please, try to get along for a bit... You two don't even have to talk! Just try to not cause him any trouble. Pretty please?" I pleaded.
"Fine, whatever. But if he comes near me or my pasta with his sausage smell, I will kill him." Lovino said, dead serious.
"Excellent! Thanks fratello!!" I squealed as I quickly hugged him, and he seemed to relax enough.
Loving soon grew tired of the hug, and made me let go of him before he continued to cook. I was relieved that Romano was going to try to not kill Germany; it really meant a lot to me since they're always arguing (mostly is just fratello insulting Germany).
After that I went upstairs to check on Ludwig and tell him about the 'good news' of Lovino's reluctant agreement of a truce, just as I saw him going to one of the guest rooms. He disconnected a silver lamp, and gently placed it inside the closet and out of harm, unaware of my presence. I felt my cheeks get warm when I saw that a few strands of hair fell on his forehead and making him look hotter. Wait! No, no. What am I thinking? He's just my friend!.. Right?
~time skip to 8pm~
Spain and Germany were quietly chatting about the current political situation of the world and stuff while they set up the table with food and drinks. Meanwhile, Romano and I were in the living room, waiting for the guests to arrive. Hopefully, no one would end up in the hospital like last time thanks to a certain American who decided to bring a huge keg that didn't seem too stable at the time..
Thanks for reading, and leave any suggestions that you might have!
