I loved you and that was a first for me. Suddenly, you were gone though and I was left filled with regret and pain. Because I lost my chances with you and I will never get that back. No matter how much I want to and no matter how much I try.

I never opened up,

Not to my family,

Not to my friends

But then you came along

With your dopey smile,

And open arms

I couldn't help myself,

I couldn't control it

One minute we were meeting for the first time,

And the next I was falling in love with you

I've never been unpredictable,

I've never crossed that line

I've never felt this intense,

But then again I hardly feel at all

You say you love me,

That I'm your dream girl,

And you never want to let me go

But then,

Suddenly,

You're gone,

Disappeared,

With no future to be foretold

So now I'm missing you,

Wishing you'd somehow come back through my door,

Praying I could talk to you once more

But I lost my chance,

And I have no idea how,

Or why,

Or when I did

But all I know is,

I can't have a future,

Not with you
