I didn't mean what I said. I didn't want you to kill yourself, I didn't want it to hurt you. I guess I know how serious those things are now.
I never understood depression, not really. I've never been close enough to see your serious side and I guess I know why. I would've made a joke, a story, a laugh for everyone, and you'd have played along. You were good at hiding your feelings.
