Skylar's POV: 6 months ago

"Skye, come down here" My brother, Fletcher, yells from downstairs.

"No, leave me alone" I angrily scream back in hopes he will leave me alone. Ever since our parents, Hazel and Trevor Green, told us we were leaving our home, I haven't left my room. My once neat room that is now a terrible mess. Living in Adelaide, Australia is... great. I have everything here, my family, my friends and even though it gets a little bit boring; I still have
my whole life here. I can't believe they expect me to pack that all away and leave the one place that makes me happy. Walking down the stairs, grabbing my dusty skateboard I sneak out the door as quietly as I can making sure nobody hears or sees me leave. This is my last night here before we leave tomorrow and I couldn't bear to see everything packed in boxes so I headed off to see my best friend, Michael. I needed to say goodbye to him at some point and because I knew we had school the next day, I was determined to say goodbye now. He only lives down the road from me so after 5 minutes, I reach his house. As soon as I knock repeatedly on the wooden door, it opens and I'm met with the face of Michael.

"What the hell are you doing here at 9pm? We have school tomorrow!" He exclaims after letting me inside. I glance behind him at my surroundings thinking this was the last time I'd ever see this place.

The only words I could muster out were, " I'm not going to school tomorrow, Mikey. In fact, I'm never going back."

He laughs in response until he notices my stern expression, "What are you talking about?" I never really took in Mikey like this, his brown hair extremely long and in need for a cut, his bright green eyes standing out from the rest of his face. Looking him up and down, I notice he had grown taller over the past few days and I had failed to realise.

"Have you grown?" I laugh.

He looks at me with annoyance plastered all over his face, "Don't stall, Skye, what's going on?"

I sigh and just let the tears fall down my face, "I'm leaving Adelaide. We leave tomorrow, we're moving to Sydney because my dad got a job promotion. I wanted to say goodbye now because I know you have schoo-" Before I knew it he wrapped me up tightly in his arms, holding me in an embrace. We stayed like that for at least an hour before we exchanged our goodbyes that were filled with sadness yet so much love. Then I left, I just left not being able to handle everything so I skated back home thinking about my life here for the past 15 years I've been alive for.

Sitting down in the waiting area at the airport beside Fletcher, I was thinking about last night. It was just like our normal goodbyes except a few things were different this time; tears and something my best friend told me. 'Sydney doesn't have to be your home, just think of it as your second home but soon enough, you will know who home is.' I don't understand what he means by home? Does he know something I don't? Was it a mistake? Just then, I'm interrupted by Fletcher nudging me looking me straight in the eyes then saying, "You ready, sis?" I can't speak, I'm sad and exhausted
from crying all night so I nod.

Suddenly I hear, "Flight 563, flying to Sydney now boarding."

Hi everyone, I'm Tiana and this is my first fan fiction so it may be a little rough but I'll pick it up as I go. This is an In Stereo fanfic, or more accurate; an Ethan Karpathy fanfic. I myself, love In Stereo and I love them all but my favourite may have to be Chris or Jakob so why I'm doing an Ethan story? I have no idea, I just love him as well. This story will be based in Sydney but the boys won't be in a band, they're just best friends. I really hope you like this story, and I'll try to continue this.
