"I didn't think that it would matter," I shrug.

Timothy wash his hand on his face and let out a frustrated sigh. "It does matter, Olivia. You met someone and told you that she's your cousin and then you remembered a part of your past. Don't tell me it doesn't matter."

"Well, Tiffany was there with me when we bump into this cousin of mine," I tell him before I can even stop myself.

I lean back on my chair. "Tiffany? She was with you and she didn't even told me a thing."

I stand up look through his set of books. "Because she knew you would act like this. Besides, nothing happened. She just insisted that she was my cousin and that's all."

Timothy didn't answer back. I see him standing by his window staring at the dark clouds. I can see his eyebrows curl in the middle, I kind of figured out that he does that when he's thinking or when something is bothering him. I slowly make my way towards him. Every step I take gives my stomach a butterfly. I don't know why I feel nervous or edgy around him. I also had this gut feeling that we've met before I lost my memory.

"Timothy?" I stand a few meters away from him. "Answer me honestly, have we met before?"

He turn to look at me his eyes giving away nothing. "Why do you ask me that?"

"I have this feeling in me that I've already met you," I shrug.

He avoided eye contact with me. "I don't think we've met before. You might have mistaken me for someone else."

"Yeah. I must have," I nod and make my way out his study.

I can feel a huge weight of disappointment wash over me when he didn't stop me. I can feel tears forming in my eyes. I quicken my pace and forcedly open my door and shut it. Tears stream down my face the moment, I slam the door. I drop myself on the ground and cried for the second time today.

-

I feel like shit. I make my way towards the kitchen to grab something to lessen the headache. I mentally curse myself for crying but at least I didn't get those nightmares. The house is so quiet. Where is everybody? I made it to the kitchen without tripping on something. I stumble to the fridge and see a stick-it-note. It's pretty obvious that a doctor wrote this because just staring at the note itself is a nightmare. After a few badmouthing to the owner, I manage to read the note.

Olivia,

I left work early and today is Mrs. Frero's day-off. There are foods in the fridge left by Mrs. James, since, she's visiting her daughter. I'll be home late.

Timothy

"That's it?" I scream at the note. "Is he fucking kidding me?"

I tear the note in half and dump it in the trash. I make myself a cup of coffee. Two teaspoonful of sugar and a spoonful of milk, just how I like it. I stop and stare at my coffee. Just how I like it? How would I know what I want? I dismiss those thoughts and head to the living room. I hop on the couch and turn the TV on. There is nothing much. Same old news, reruns and dramas. With a sigh, I shut it off. I slump on the couch feeling disappointed.

I take a long sip of my coffee and place it on the coffee table. As I stare at my cup something captured my attention. There is a divider under the coffee table. There are magazines, newspapers and papers stuffed in it. I took the paper on top and see it was some business deal. I drop it on the table and took another one. Still the same, I scan the page and the date caught my eye.

December 22, 2013. This was an old business deal. What is it doing here? I glance at the stack of papers and remove it all, one by one. The papers are due since last year already. I took a newspaper from the pile to see its publishing date was just months ago. That's odd. Timothy's a doctor, so, why do he need business deals?

I scan the front page and I can see myself smiling on the paper as the news headline for the day. Heiress gone missing. It was an international paper. I'm on international news. I place it with the other papers. I grab the only magazine in the pile and open it. Flipping from one page to the other, my hands suddenly stopped and I just stared at the page.

I gasp when I saw the names on the headline. I turn the magazine to the front to see it dated months ago. Right when it all started. The same months that I have lost my memories. Why does Timothy had this? I turn it back to the page again and read the article out loud.

"The golden couple by Natalie Ong

It was last August 23, 2015 when, Henry Chase announced that his only daughter, Miss Olivia Chase is going to be married to Mr. Ivan Gray the CEO of Gray and Corp. Speculations says that the two of them where just forced by Miss Chase's father to be married.

On the press conference held last week, September 4, 2013, Mr. Gray denied the speculations. He says, "I'm going to marry Olivia because I love her and not because we were forced to." Media tries to captures Miss Chase's statement on the matter but she decided to be quiet.

This whole marriage was a surprise to their fellow friends, knowing that those two don't even know each other. They say that Miss Chase was never seen with Mr. Gray ever—"

I close the magazine and dump it with the rest. What was that? I glance at the coffee table and saw a photobook at the bottom. I grab it. I run my hands around the cover feeling the roughness of the cover. I opened it on the first leaf and there was a neat writing on the page.

Property of Tim, Teddy, Tiff, Olly and Addy.

I smile at the names in front. I turn it again and stop short on what I've seen. It was Adrian, wearing a blue jersey uniform beside him stood Timothy wearing the same attire, who has his arm around Adrian. I turn to the man beside Timothy and gasp. There are two Timothy's the only difference is that he was taller than Timothy and he doesn't wear a jersey uniform but a jeans and sweatshirt with the logo of a certain college. The three of them where smiling at the camera. There was a note under the photo.

Tim thought Teddy couldn't make it but hey they won the championships.
