Gen's POV

As I walked to my common room, Slytherin, down in the dungeons, I had time to reflect on, well, everything. My relationship with Draco, my friendship with Leanne. Of course, I rarely saw my sister due to our houses. Thinking of that, I was once so close to Rae, we could finish each other's sentences.

Now, I couldn't even keep track of her. I only saw her at mealtimes, talking to Seamus, sometimes Granger, and Bella. Double Potions with Professor Uhl I rarely spoke to her, either, except I did overhear her once.

When I heard her speak, it was, simply, "...yeah, Bella, Beater...that's right..."

Soon after Rae's quiet anouncement to her friend, I went up to Draco, the Slytherin Seeker.

"When are tryouts?" I demanded, looking squarely at him. He looked up, quite quickly, from his Charms homework - which, like Leanne - which he struggled with. What's with all Slytherins sucking at Charms?!

"What? For what, Gen?"

"Quidditch obviously. Who are you? Crabbe or Goyle? Don't be stupid!"

"You...you want to play? You don't seem the type..." he died off seeing my look.

"Listen, Dezirae's trying out to be Beater, since one of the Wealsey twins hit their head with a Bludger. I want to watch...edge my twin on," this was my nicer and calmer side, which Draco had rarely seen when I spoke about someone else.

"I...I can see what I can do. Slytherin and Gryffindor tryouts aren't together. We have them with Hufflepuff," he explained, frowning slightly. Ha, I make him nervous.

"Well...well, Draco, I'll ask Leanne to ask Lena."

With that I kissed his cheek and went to find Leanne. I'd tutor Draco later in Charms.Upon finding Leanne, arguing with Daphne Greengrass about Quincy.

"Funny, Leanne, I don't think he ever liked that girl. You know...that other Beauxbatons girl that tries to convince everybody she's Gen's twin of all things..." Daphne's voice died down seeing me.

"Genevieve," she said coolly as I asked for Leanne privately. I told her about Rae wanting to play Quidditch, and her position. Leanne clamped a hand over her mouth.

"Beater? After that Weasley kid had to go to St. Mungo's with the head injury? Is she crazy?"

I sighed. "There's always at least one in every family, Leanne!"

"Like my brother, who's an Auror. Nick Hanson," Leanne said, as if I cared. No one did, therefore I was just guessing she was just talking to calm herself. Since Fred's injury, Beating was redeemed as the newly most dangerous position.Anyone to hear someone was trying to refill his position, regardless, was crazy. Yet, I'm sure in some book, the translation of 'Dezirae' and 'Grindelwald' would translate into 'crazy.' Leanne dragged me back to where Draco was struggling to explain what a very easy Cheering Charm does.

"Her sister wants to be a Beater." she announced.

"Only...only in passing did I hear," I mumbled. Draco already knew, but Leanne didn't know.

"I'm just saying, Uhl's been bragging that Rae's really good at muggle sports!" Leanne whispered.

"What if she risks us the Quidditch Cup?" I smiled at my best friend's antics.

"I wouldn't worry about it. Its the Seeker who counts. We've got Draco!"

The next morning, after having about two hours sleep, I realized it was Saturday. The same exact Saturday that Rae would have the audition, will you, to be put up into the game. Leanne was up, as well, to watch the game only because Lena being the Ravenclaw Seeker.
