Natsu p.o.v

I was shocked when Lucy smacked the request sheet down in front of my face, making me jerk back in surprise and fall off the bench.

"heeeeeey," I whined "Luce don't do that to me."

"shut up and look!" her face was flushed with both excitement and annoyance, she shoved the request poster in my face, seeing how she was buzzing with enthusiasm, it was hard for me to stay mad, "See?!, there's an 80 million jewel reward for this job!"

"80-what?!" I jumped to my feet and swung Luce around in joy "haha! Luce we're gonna be rich!"

She giggled in my arms "Natsu we can't go alone, we-"

"why not?" I interrupted her, whining again. I averted my eyes and pouted. I don't need any help demolishing stuff...

"Well because it says that it will take at least 20 members to finish the request."

Humph.

"Natsu, i've already got a team." she looked sad, not wanting to make her cry or anything, I looked behind her to find our 'team' of: Romeo, Wendy, Carla, Erza, Cana, Levy, Iron-face, Panther-lily, Ice-prick, Juvia and Happy. "We can go now, no waiting, which i happen to know you hate." she bobbed her beautiful head back into my line of sight with her hopeful smile. Just no escaping the perfection is there...

"fine," i mumbled and she looked ecstatic. but then her smile turned kind of awkward and suddenly I realised that I was still holding her around he waist, was that the reason she was awkward?

"ha... um Natsu, um you can let go of me now..."

"oh.." I gave her a confused look before the doors swung open and in walked four sabertooth tigers.

"Yoho! Natsu! remember us?!" a loud voice came, its blonde owner had his arm around a smiling Yukino's shoulders and behind them strode Rogue and Minerva along with Lector and Froche.

"what are you doing here?," i deadpanned, ultimately confused.

Everyone sweat dropped.

"W-we're here for the job..." now Sting looked confused.

"uum..."

Lucy wriggled from my grasp to greet them. damn, "Hey guys I'm glad you could make it!" she chirped.

While they were chatting, greeting and (by the looks of it) explaining and apologizing, i just stared at them and Lucy, she practically glowed when she was happy. its kinda scary...

Sting spotted my face and came in front of Lucy "oh, Natsu are you having 'thoughts' about lucy, tut, tut, tut, naughty boy" he said emphasising the thoughts in quotation marks and laughing his stupid ass off.

I walked up to him with a smirk "Well its not like i was hugging my pillow pretending it was Yukino last night was I?" He exploded into a blush that looked redder than a tomato, trying to explain to an awkward and embarassed looking Yukino, it worked.

I glanced in Lucy's direction but before I could see her i heard a certain light bulb shout something about me when I was at Lucy's place, that stalking perv how would he know about something like that?!. i shouted something back. then he shouted something else and by the time we had run out of insults and embarrassing comments we settled things with our fists.
